During this week in 2007, Dr. Jane Goodall met with Native students in South Dakota. The renowned scientist, conservationist and humanitarian visited the Pine Ridge Reservation and a Rapid City school. Goodall spoke about her Roots and Shoots program. The program focuses on making positive change happen in communities, for animals and for the environment
