Thank you for letting me join your group. I had read some of the post and felt a stiring inside - I was so excited I started to read some of the fox stories to my son. Of course he thinks there silly but we discss them after and I think he's learning from them.
The reason I'm wriiting is because there are 2 dreams that I have been living with for a long time and I hope someone can help me to understand them better.
1) The first I had when I was about 16 or 17 years old. I am running through the forest and it is night, then day then night. As I look to my left I see this white wolf running with me. I look down at my feet and I have paws realizing at that point the wolf and I are one. I stop and look up, the forest is all birch trees, I look down again and there is a orange glowing maple leaf on the ground. I look up and standing there is a woman in white skins, with black hair. She is very big. I walk towards here and through her. Behind her is a mans face, he is proud with a sharp nose and dark skin like red earth. He has a stern look on his face but there is a smile in his eyes. No one is talking in this dream. I wasn't really sleeping when I had it. I was awake and asleep at the same time.
2) The second dream I had about a year or so ago. I was in a field of high grass, it was tan and to my waist. I was calling out to someone and then I had a boy with me and we were running through the grass. I could see a stunted tree and thought to hide there. But when we got to the field the grass had been cut. we followed the long grass, as I looked behind a man on a horse burst through the tall grass chasing us. I turned to watch where I was going and saw a snow white tent. I yelled at the boy to hurry. When we got to the tent he would not enter, I did and there was an old man with a wolf face hat on his head. I faced him and he smiled and then I was sitting in his place. A voice told me that "now that the fathers are gone I must tell the stories."
I know there are people who would not believe me, but these two dreams have stayed with me for a long time. I can close my eyes and see them as clear as day. I know there important, but I don't know how. I have told a few others about it and they have all told me that I should meditate on them. Even now as I think of them I start to cry and I don't know why. Does anyone have an idea what these dreams could mean?

I think maybe I can help with some bits and pieces of your dreams... In dream #1, you essentially become the wolf, your spirit may be connecting with wolf as a spirit helper. Perhaps you should try to remember how you felt being the wolf. I have a feeling wolf comes to you often in your dreams. Listen to him with your heart. I am no expert, but I have the same type of connection with bear. Once I was dreaming and seeing things through his eyes as he was showing me many things, and was shaken by family members to wake up because they said I was sleeping with my eyes open and it freaked them out. |

| Sunny,You can inturped the dreams better than others.You need to start taking notes when you have dreams. Write down everything you sence in them. The lighting the smells a breeze or a sound even if you don't think it is important at the time. It looks like you are doing a good job of doing that. Read over your dreams and think them out. You know what is going on in your life and can usually figer them out when the time is right for you to know what they mean. I find that if I step back and think of them as connected to other things they make sence for me. I would say that you are taking on the spirit of your ansesters.You are being asked to carry on there stories.The changing days are the seasons,The cut gress is mother earth going through the changes of modern times. Are you willing to become that story teller in the white tee pee you dreamed of. To bring there stories to the young people of today. The fathers are gone you can carry on what they tought you, What you have learned. Does that sound close to what you are feeling. Pass on what you have learned to the children,So they can help restore the earth. I hope that helps a little. Starlight | | | |

Wolf is very significant here. You have been called back to the People and need to tell the stories to spread the word. There are not enough story tellers now. Wolf will help you if you ask him to and remember to thank him when you both are finished. Perhaps you should thank Wolf every time you do anything spiritual, be it in print or in word. The field and the grass are the many people that you can help perhaps with your stories. When you are finished with your stories you will have to find a follower (such as the boy in your dream) to pass your knowledge on to much like the boy is showing you in your dream. He wouldn't enter the tent because his job was finished when he brought you before the Medicine Man in the tent. Again the Wolf was mentioned. Honor Wolf as it could be your clan, I don't know. Yes, you need to meditate on these dreams as they are connected much like we all are in this big family. Only you know the real answers to your dreams though and the way your path should go.
