The Beginning of the Holocaust
Of a historical time,
A people were marched in line,
Some would stumble and fall,
Other's would try to crawl,
Little children sobbing and crying,
Sick and old ones dying.
With guns aimed at their back,
They were forced to stay on track.
Oh how the nations tried to make a stand,
To remain within their sacred land.
Somber and dreary is the sound,
Of bitter tears falling to the ground.
Never allowed to talk,
Even the old had to walk.
Through rain, snow and wind,
A bureaucracies evil journey of sin.
And a people would move with dignity,
While a government would show no pity.
Oh how the nations tried to make a stand,
To remain within their sacred land.
Some would be taken by train,
While other's walked in pain.
They were young and old,
Oh many tried to be so bold.
And though they were brave,
There would be many graves,
And of this deathly flight,
Such a tyranny has no right.
Oh how the nations tried to make a stand,
To remain within their sacred land.
So many were forced to go,
Like the Apache, Cherokee and Navajo,
Made to leave their homeland,
To go and live in dirt and sand.
So many shackled and chained,
Others were often murdered in vain.
Such is U.S. Army's transgressions,
Vile is the U.S. Government's oppression.
Oh how the Sovereign Nations tried to make a stand,
To remain within their Ancestral sacred Lands.America
.... your history you can't hide,
For now the whole world knows... of your genocide!
For We the American Indian still live!
We are the Descendants of our Ancestors!
