When things have been hard and looking dire

Facing hard times feeling low and in despair

The voice of spirit has spoken in my ear

Don’t be afraid, we are with you, have no fear.

 

You think you are no-one and insignificant

But we see you as you are, you’re not what

 you think

You care for others and help where you can

What more can anyone ask of any man

 

Yes you stray, make mistakes, do things wrong

You are sometimes weak but you are also strong

When life is hard, looking bleak and you don’t

 know what to do

Talk to us and we will see you through.

 

Our love for you is strong, and we here to guide

 you

All we ask is you trust your path and to be true

Put up with the hard times, we know you can

Don’t give up; please don’t give up, just act
