I Dance, I Sing

 

 

Wrap your love around me Mother Earth
Breathe the cool essence of air against my skin
Moisten my body with pure waters
Light my eyes with ever changing color
Allow me to feel the warm soil beneath my feet

 

I dance for you

 

May I always return the nurturing you give
Tending to the life you feed

Teach me the ways of the ancients Father Sky
Guide me to heights unknown
Lift my soul into the expanse
Paint my heart with breath taking colors
Brightening my journey to distant places

 

I sing for you

 

My existence is blessed
I wish to forever be a light within
