When I was lost in my addiction, I felt so totally helpless and alone. I remember searching the internet seeking help. I just wanted someone to talk to that 'understood' and could offer me some direction. One thing I have learned in the last few weeks, is that recovering alcoholics do understand; and are very willing to share their experiences and offer support if we only let them. I'd like to welcome you to make a post. Just say you would like to stop drinking or would like support staying sober. I for one would love to offer support as others have so freely given me. Blessing to all, Rose Just for today, I will not drink |

Hello Rose, you have found the one of the things that makes A.A. work every where . No one can reach out to a suffering alcoholic like another alcoholic,we are so different than the non- alcoholic. Early in my recovery I sometimes I had to just not drink one minute at a time. My e-mail is in contact s on the side board and in my bio,I have to give back the recovery that was given so freely to me,feel free to ask me anything, with respect Rick |
