It's a common widespread belief that the human being is more spiritually evolved than all other animals. I'm not so sure about this. Animals are manifestations of pure spirit, and are connected with eachother regardless of species in a way in which man has noticed but can scarcely understand fully. Perhaps that is because we have fallen from grace and have somehow been disconnected consciously on many levels from mental spiritual consciousnesses the animals still share with one another. Because of our fall from grace, or this greater conscious connection and awareness of the spiritual and spiritual forms of communications, we have had to evolve our speach and awareness of the lower physical means and modes to make up for this loss. In essence, we may be the fallen, the lost, and the lower spiritual creatures. Our greater need for cleverness to survive this loss of greater spiritual connection and understanding may be responsible for our unique evolution, our greater destructive natures, and invention of sciences, religions, and languages. Because we became blind, deaf, and ignorant we have become the poor disfunctional creatures we are today. Just a thought these recent threads have me considering. Thoughts from one who often soul speaks with animals and who has become aware that they aren't quite what we believe them to be, and have a lot more understanding than they let on. |

Perhaps the evolution of higher states of cognition and more complex consciousness prompted the "fall from grace". Perhaps it is the evolution of distinct identity and free will which puts us in that place, where non-human animals can be held more or less blameless and innocent as children since they have just about as much voluntary control over their actions. Then again, maybe not, recent research has shown that we actually know very little about the the consciousness and potential Theory of Mind of non-human animals...how do we know that we are the only ones to have fallen from grace? |

Something I have been saying for years mister saeswac...as you well know. It also really boils down to your belief system on what you want to believe about animals until evidence presents itself that is not just through internal means on the mindset of the animal psyche. |
