Good Day to You, Its snowing and I am actually enjoying the view from here :o) Last night as I sat through the night I occupied myself with thoughts of you and how I have come to value each and every one of you .... Badger ... we have known each other a long time here online (over 3 years!) and your unflagging support, patience (when I'm psp distracted, lol) and good cheer in whatever I turn my hand to has always been deeply appreciated. You've kept me company through much of what Life has tossed my way the last few years, for that I am deeply grateful. Thank you for being such a great friend and chess mate  Deidre ... I love chatting with you, and your insights & humour are just two of the many things I like about you. Thanks for the many wonderful conversations Fern.... I don't know anyone like you! Your loving kindness to all who cross your path is an inspiration to me. Your generosity of spirit and open-ness is very much appreciated. Thank you for the light you bring to Betwixt Fox ... I have to say its a real pleasure keeping company with you, you make me laugh, and somehow manage to out fox even my worst of moods, lol ... oh and as for being my favorite psp victim... Thank you Hadit ... your ready wit and wonderful compamy across the chessboard is always enjoyed :o) Thanks ... Imbas ... music and metaphysics, two of my favorite topics in your company. But what I have come to appreciate the most is your honest and insightful feedback, I admit it took getting used to some of your commentaries, LOL but now I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you ... Sæskwac ... I love the material and insights you bring to Betwixt and everyday life (in regards to the Study Hall) since communications and human nature is one of my favorite studies.... thanks! Lacedra ... I am so glad you're a part of Betwixt and I value the times we actually get to chat, either through IM or the boards. I made you a like something last night in hopes of bringing a smile to you ... its a sassy little piece that kinda made me laugh (no accounting for gemini humour)... thanks for our growing friendship Leila ... you have become such an integral part of Betwixt that I think we would be lost without you. But the best part of it is the fact that we have started getting to know each other even more over the past few months, and I have come to adore your sense of humour (my favorite punster!)... Thank You! Nox ... whether or not you realize it you've inspired me a good many times, either in metaphysical thought or graphic creativity... thank you Nym ... whats to be said that hasn't already been said on our walks or across a cup of tea? I just wish that life was kinder and would give you (and us!) more playtime, lol ... Thanks Paula ... I'd just like to say thanks for tyour good morning posts, they're always appreciated ... thanks :o) Tadrith (Wolfhound) ... people come and go through groups all the time, but its only through dialogue that we get to know one another and find value in each others company. I'm looking forward to future conversations.... thank you Tanya .... although folks don't know you well here in Betwixt yet, I hope they get the chance to. You are one of the most caring and generous people I know, you always manage to find the best in people and make them shine!... thank you for inspiring my in so many ways Tragonryder ... again, folks don't know you well enough in here yet, but I do. And what I know is that your humour and ready smile is invaluable, I love having conversations with you in IM or on the board and am looking forward to many more... thanks Wanduring .... to say that knowing you is mind-expanding is not an exagerration! LOL I can't tell you how much I appreciate your company and the ability to talk about almost absolutely anything (okay... so we have a few conversational pitfalls now and again) You've become one of those unlooked for gifts (strange but true, lol) that life brings for me to treasure... thank you ... if you haven't figured it out yet, just click on the little present to see whats inside  To all of you I wish all the best for the coming year, may it be one full of prace & prosperity for us all. Your friendship here in Betwixt and offline means a great deal to me, and I look forward to (at least) another year in your company. Tad and Nox, I'm sorry MSN was being a brat, bet you thought it was another one of my games, lol ... nonetheless, I'm glad you found the tags and that you like them. Fernie & Leila, Betwixt wouldn't be the same without you and I'm glad you're here! These tags are just a token of my appreciation.... what I would really like to do if wishes were granted .. we'd all get together for a 3 day solstice bash in some remote snow covered castle... hmmm heated alpine pool, ski slopes, horseback riding, wooded trails, feasts & fireplaces and a ton of good cheer. Imbas, Wan, Leila, Tadrith and Sæskwač would bring along their bardic brilliance ... Badge would bring the chessboards, Nym, Lace and Devine could bring the dance ... ahhhh but to dream LOL

Thank You Red, for your kind words, your trust and friendship. I have been away for a few days, as you know, but we are all home now and comfortable. I think Lace set some sort of record for shortest stay, barely 24 hrs, but all is well and she is much more comfortable at home. Happy Yule to you and yours! Hey you never know, that 3 day retreat might be possible someday. Gives you guys plenty of time to figure out a few more moves on that chessboard anyway, hehehe. Got to get that vision up to 10 moves ahead at least.....hehehe, Badger plays? Hmmm, a game perchance one evening? Thanks again for the tag, it's beautiful. |
