Where is everyone this morning? It's so quiet on the boards! We are having a family dinner tonight in Victoria, so I'm looking forward to that. It sure doesn't look very inviting out at the moment. I put the forecast for Victoria below, as they don't show one for Brentwood Bay. Have a great Sunday, everyone! Leslie |

We have such heavy fog that I can't see my neighbor's house. It's 58 degrees F., humidity 91 %. May have severe weather tonight. I hope not. Abby, last night the boards were all so slow I gave up. Today looks the same. Annie |

Sorry... would have been in earlier, but had to run up some new wood blocks for big beaks... 3 of the 4 were in destructo-mode yesterday. They had to have chewed through about 10 pounds of the stuff.... no exageration here either! My fire place bucket was filled twice and taken out to the compost pile. |

No here I am... so that makes us the Big 3.... I have been spending a lot of time outside in the flight with the birds.... They can be so cute and we watched them play... Mica needs another Mica... I told Mike that when he got her she'd wear everyone out as the Goffins are wired all the time.... I had bought 4 bags of bird seed at the last Bird Fair and I'm not happy with it.... so I also was looking for seed that I could order where I could make up my own for that particular species.. and mix them together 50/50 Then I just found out my hurricane insurance (it was promised to give the homeowners a break and even refund last June) Mine is jumping another 2400 a year so that means my homeowners insurance is more than my housepayment... Last year it jumped by 1700 I believe .... way too expensive for me to live here in Florida.... |

Move back to Oklahoma and live on the southeast side of a big cliff. Tornadoes can't find you there and no hurricanes. May be hot but after Florida you could handle that. And your house would be way less than half the price of your Florida home. Lots of good stuff about living like a hick. No beaches and no fresh from-the-sea fish but we can get day old fish. Annie |

I woke up to another dusting of snow on Sunday. What's the deal????????? Saw on the news tonight, Portland area has just had the latest snowfall on record, as well as 2 or 3 consecutive record-low high temps. And it's definitely extended to the coast. Geeez |

It's almost tempting Annie to move back to Oklahoma and unfortunately all I could afford would be a carboard box... no doubt the big 'uns would eat that up in a heartbeat so I would realize that "eating me out of house and home" wouldn't be a stretch... I have made myself sick over this as there won't be a break in the insurance rates... not with floods, fires and tornadoes all over as those same insurers are ours too. And with the housing slump... no chance to sell for what it's worth... |

I'm with you GB sooo cold and icy here I can't believe it. At least no snow but 27 degrees at night and not above 50 during the day is misery for us. Makes us think about going to the desert for the winter months....only will happen if we ever retire. di |

I just took the dogs out. What fab timing I have. I can hear thunder off in the west. Got the weather channel on and they are telling me to prepare for severe storm, possibly tornado. It's 79 degrees. Wind is blowing a gale. If I disappear, I'll be back. No tornado would dare get me. Annie |
