A couple years ago I started teaching myself HTML and the only thing I liked as a web page was family recipes. I've made several others since then, but I keep this one going for when I can't find my favorites. Many of them are from my own family and I've made them myself, so I can vouch for how good they are. A few were given to me by friends on the Internet -- you take your chances there, but since they swear by them I don't think they'll be dreadful. : )
The web site is http://www.angelfire.com/pa2/CynsPlace/index.html and please feel free to copy any you like. If anyone has some cherished favorites they'd like me to post, please do send them to me; I'll even put your photo in the Cooks section if you like. All I ask is that you use precise measures as often as possible, ditto the instructions, and give the measurements and temperatures in American versions; I don't know what metric equivalents are, or Celsius oven temps.

Hello, I hope I am making my reply regarding the fabulous receipes in the links to Cyn's Place, in the manner in which we are supposed to be following. I just wanted to compliment each and every person responsible for these "Out of This World Receipes". What a yummy feeling, right in my sore tummy, just reading them, knowing very well, I will be making a good many, if not "As Many" as I can, with the help of my sweet(pardon the pun) sweet grandsons, 3,5 and 7 years young, and my long awaited for only granddaughter(2&1/2 years of age).who will be delighted to take some goodies home to their mommy's and daddy's, and of course, I can only enjoy having them one at a time, for obvious painful reasons associated with spinal injuries, and just last week, finally found out the reason for the horrible pain in my stomach, the dreaded ulcer's,, probably related to medication given to assist in the pain control, and or long term anti-inflammatory meds, anti-depressants given, to help cope with the stress of such complete changes in lifestyle, but I am surely thankful at least they can be treated. I really don't like to complain, knowing that there are so many other people with so very many more dreaded illnesses. So, I am trying to just stick to the compliments I want to send to Cyndy and all her family and friends, with many thanks for sharing not only these incredible receipes, but the fun in looking at, and following the very nice manner in which it all is layed out for us. What a delightful Subject tonight to come home and read, I enjoyed it to the fullest, and just know that my little grandchildren will be so happy, not just helping me bake some of the receipes, but just having them over, and probably thinking to their little selves, Hey, grandma is so happy today.P.S. Oh by the way, I too am from CANADA. One more question, if I may, I remember, that I was asked to just use my real name, because there was already another Maggie. I hope that on the message board yesterday, that it wan't me that deleted a message, resulting in the loss of several important matters, if it was, I apologize Cyndy, and will use my name, spelled Marsha. with lots of sincere thanks. |
