I spent the day with my sister Renee she is in chemo and has 8 sessions to go and they told her she has a lump in her other breast. The chemo burnt her skin and she can`t go any where. So I took her 8 year old daughter Lesley out to a 4 star mexican resturant. Then to a movie. Boy did that blow my diet. But my sister needed alone time and she and her daughter are both scared. My sister ask me if the cancer wins would I finish raising her daughter. OH my an 8 year old. The terible teens all over again. I talk with my niece about it and she told me I know I have 6 other aunts and uncles but You and uncle Rick is all I know. She cried and I cried and we hugged and decided if her mom goes to heaven she will live with me.

Gerib4- I'm sorry for all of this. Lets pray for your sisters recovery, it does happen. I think it is great you would take her daughter if anything happened though. Is there a father around to? |
