Remeber perfection is in the eyes of the beholder. Those that have weather the storm and survived even a little battered are often stronger within, able to see the world through a wider scope with more understanding.
When a crystal is chipped it is called empathic. Empathic crystals are ones which are damaged or chipped in some way. They promote understanding, kindness, compassion and empathy. They are also thought to open the hearts of those who have closed them, and protect the open-hearted from too much pain. They are nice to hold, and feel good to meditate with.
Empathic crystals are said to deflect negative energy better. These crystals are also called "Empathic Warriors". This is because they have been through their own battles and coming out still alive, they have empathy for challenges and injury. They bring knowledge that beauty comes from within. Excellent for heightening compassion for others, and passing on healing without losing one's sense of self.
So please enjoy the crystal and its energy. Each crystal has its own magical beauty and it's all about resonating personally with it.
