along my path of growth.. actually when i first started looking for groups such as this one.. and did find some groups..and as i went along.. were led to the ones that were meant for me to be (like this one) i was looking for some answers to some things that were happening with my oldest son derek. he's 12 and has had a few experiences over the years where he has seen as well as heard (outside his head) spirits.especially that of a little girl, who when she first originally came to him. was quite frightening as it was all new to derek.. but since has become a comfort to him, and he loves it when she visits. a few months ago, derek started becoming overwhelmed with intense feelings of sadness, but felt it wasnt his own... that is when we were told it sounded like he was an empath. as we have gone along in this journey, i have learned a tremendous amount and have been helping him with his gifts.. helping him to know when too much was just too much and to let them know to only give him what he could handle at the time... which they did, and eased up on him.. gave him some time. around this time, about two months ago, when he closed his eyes to go to sleep one night, a man appeared in a doorway, not saying a word. this is the first time that derek had the opportunity to try and find out his name (as mom was learning all this and passing it on to him) so he asked his name... it's John. he asked why he was here... no answer... and as it scared him, he asked him to please leave as it was scaring him. he hadnt seen him again until last night. but it wastn just john.. derek came upstairs and said that he kept getting a bunch of faces in his head and it was starting to scare him. he said one in particular, that of an old woman with wrinkly skin and scary eyes. so together with myself and his twin, matt, i told derek to ask her for her name. i got and "mar" sounding name but that's all i could get.. and matt got margaret. derek said that sounded about right and when he asked for confirmation, he got a yes. he asked if there was something she wanted him to know, again she said yes. then derek got "warning" and "danger"... so with that i told him to ask her if she'd been to the light yet.. he got a no. so he told her to go to the light. after that he felt her leave and felt much better. then he saw the eyes belong to john. (while this was going on, i got a few confirmations, as y eyes weled up and the hair on my legs stood on end lol was quite powerful)....again he didnt say anything, but derek felt good with him there.. not scared like he was the first time he saw him. and also made him feel good in that john reminded him of elizabeth (the little girl) inthe way that at first he was scared by her, but once he put it out there that it did scare him, she came back a little more subtle as not to frighten him, as did john. we have since discovered that john is one of his guides. derek is very excited about this and matt is saying he wants one too! lol (i told him that when he's ready, it will happen) before it was just derek i thought had these gifts but is seeming to be that matt is beginning to open up to them as well. it was quite exciting for derek to be able to start to learn and trust and grow, and i'm so thankful that i am able to be there for him while he does. and with that, i also need to say that i am incredibly thankful that i was led to this group so that i may learn and grow in my own journey as well. huggsss to you all, will keep you posted on how derek is doing with his gifts, and matt as well... =) tracy |

wonderful story....sounds very similar to an
experience my own daughter is going thru ... she has just turned
