Dear White Eagle -

 

 

                                                                   

 

You addressed me as your 'spiritual friend', and that (by coincidence?) is how I start off every morning -- with a Blessing I borrowed from the Mahamudra, and only modified slightly:

 

 

To me this meditation always acknowledges taht we are, each of us, the other's teacher.

 

As I write these words in long-hand (later to be transferred to my computer), I am listening to a recording of Satsang or spiritual chants by Deva Premal (the CD is titled 'Love is Space').  The number she is singing is 'Om Shre Sache', and it brings me great inner peace.

 

As I prayed for a blessing, for this reading, I sensed pain, confusion and deep hurt in you.  Therefore I decided to use a four card spread, using only the major aracana, and cards that I have hand colored myself.  The four card spread is based on the Tetragrammaton, IHVH (whom the Christians call Jehovah and whom the Shamans address as the Great Sky God).  The letters really mean 'That which WAS, IS and WILL BE.'

 

 

 

This key shows the way things look, and not the Reality behind them.  It refers to the Way of Life - and deals specifically with the means Life employs so that we may become aware of the undeveloped aspects of our personalities.  In order to do this, we must be willing to face the reality of our present situation - no matter how much it hurts, no matter how many of our illusions must fall away.  We must first learn to face ourselves; if we cannot do that, we cannot change ourselves and move on.

 

The Devil shows us how the One Power appers to us before we begin our true, our inner, searching process.

 

On the Tree of Life, that Great and Holy Glyph of Reality, the Path of the Devil is called 'THE RENEWING INTELLIGENCE'.  This name identifies the process which makes us whole at last!  Therefore this Key represents your willingness to take the first step on the Path to Spiritual Fulfilment. 

(This Key is an obvious  parody of Key 6, the Lovers.  You can see this key in my final reading for Rand Noel).

 

 

 

This Key relates, on the Tree of Life, to Jupiter, to the Lord of Fortune, and also to the Home of the Chasidim, the Compassionate Ones who act as our guides   This Key also represents the Eternal Now (as in Taoism).

 

 

In other words, you are not the whirlings and should not get caught up.  Nor are you the Laws of Nature, so you are not responsible for whatever  unfolds.  You do not control the Karma of others.  What you are is an INSTRUMENT of Life's expression.  You are here to do what you can to help others.  And, you must learn to trust in this Beneficence and in that trust you will come to understand the deeper principles at work in your own life.

 

 

 

At the next stage in your personal process of enfoldment, called REVELATION, you will have moved on from your pain to discover a very special type of awareness - even deeper than that of the previous stage.  The ancients called this stage 'Isis Unveiled' - because here the Divine Mother is showing you, in Meditation, how you can share - consistently, in an extraordianry Power.  This is the power of Meditaiton, in the meditation by Life which actually brings all creation into manifestation.  In other words: you will start sharing in Reality.

 

Here, SHE (the Divine Mother), is 'Fixing the Volatile', meaning the energies the Shamans use to directly perceive Reality.  This comes, at first, with our willingness to accept Life, even those parts we do as yet not fully understand. 

 

Thus begins, for you, a period of inner peace and calm.  This is a time of quiet development and the discovery of inner strength.  The Eagle, your Ally, is here represented by the bird in the background.  The Key shows an Egyptian Ibis, a bird sacred to Toth.  Like your Eagle, it carries messages from the Divine Mother to the ganglion of your nervous system (the small tree). 

 

The seven smaller stars are your Cakras, now coming into true alignment with the Divine Mother.

 

 

 

This Key represents Inner Hearing and true Intuitional Guidance.  It shows the Father Principle (Wisdom) in the garb of a Woman (Understanding).  The Divine Mother is what Stands Under us and Supports us.

 

 

Secondly, know you have an inner teacher.  Without instruction from the Divine Mother, we would all be lost.  So - even if you started in pain and confusion, you can see you are now free of old illusions.  You are freed from confusion.

 

This is the role of INTUITION, to tell you - unerringly, what is really NEEDFUL in life.  INTUITION will also telll you - everyday, what your own offering can be.  You may think that yours is too small, but LIFE knows exactly where and when your contributions make a perfect fit.
