BRANDULA'S FINAL READINGS
Brandula has an unusual and rather challenging chart. This is the chart of an 'old soul' who has chosen, during this lifetime, to take on some real challenges. It has the following features"
1. A stellium in the sixth house of work and service to others.
2. A grand trine in Air (mental signs); a good luck configuration,
3. An X-cross, a very challenging configuration HAVING TWO SETS OF oppositions.
4. A T-square, another very challenging configuration, which is usually enough of a challenge to drive the recipient to make a success of their life.
For these reasons I have decided to use Brandula's chart as a teaching example. Any members who have an interest in astrology will see that it takes more than the Sun Sign to really know an individual.
THE STELLIUM IN THE SIXTH HOUSE OF WORK AND SERVICE
From the first simplified chart (above) we see that Brandula has a stellium of four planets in the 6th house of work, service and health. Three of these - his Sun, Venus and Pluto are in Virgo. With his Sun (the principle of self-integration) in Virgo, AND in the sixth house, we know that Brandula will seek both personal fulfillment and recognition through the excellent work he does; and this might be in some area of service - probably related in some manner to health, psychology or medicine.
With his Venus (love and creativity) also in Virgo and in the sixth house, he will be a natural for successful employment in any of these areas. This usually signifies happy and constructive relationships with fellow workers - and therefore success in whatever career goals Brandula selects. Pluto, the planet of transformation and regeneration was also in Virgo (for about 15 years), so it signifies an entire generation with revolutionary ideas in the area of work. service and health; these will now be realized as his generation begins to replace the Baby Boomers in positions of power. Pluto's position IS personal for Brandula, however, in the sixth house. He will be able to make effective contributions to present work practices in any of these areas.
Finally, Uranus is also in the sixth house, but in Libra, where it resided for about 8 years. In the sixth house Uranus opens great horizons for Brandula personally - representing his possessing advanced idea and inspirations applying to everything and anything from mathematics to spiritual healing in the work area.
(A challenging chart to analyze: for example, Venus in Virgo is often 'cold' (relatively speaking) in personal relationships, because Venus in Virgo has as HIGH standards for a mate as for themselves. Contradicting this, however, is his Venus conjunct the Sun, which puts energy into love, into relationships and into their enjoyment of life.
THE TRANSITING SUN AND HIS STELLIUM
We can look each and every year at the transiting Sun (NOT the natal Sun) for one reason a stellium is such a powerhouse. Early in September - around his birthday, the T. Sun enters the sixth house. This should be a time of great focus at work, and of best success. The conjunction of T. Sun with natal Sun occurs, of course, on his birthday, and is one reason why birthday's can be so great! At the same time, T. Sun conjuncts N.Venus, indicating an outgoing unhappy and loving attitude toward friends, children, family and fellow workers! Later in the month, T. Sun conjuncts N. Pluto and throws power into his work and will and energizes this drive toward leadership and making any necessary changes. Finally, after T. Sun moves in Libra and conjuncts n. Uranus , this opens the door for new experiences during the rest of the year, adds sparkle to his personality, expands his outlook and his consciousness .. and (possibly) heralds some new psychic experiences.
This ALL IS still more potent than we have shown, because what ever trines or squares the natal planets HAPPEN TO make to other planets, will also be energized by T. Sun. We shall examine a few of these in our next post as we look at his Grand Trine in Air.
