Here kitty kitty kitty! Remember when you where a kid, and you'de get a bottle of bubbles...and next thing you know they would spill all over the place....so you would run into your mom....and she would magically fix it...all of a sudden they were full again, and you could blow bubbles again? We gotta find out how she did it! |

 | From the Desk of Ask Ubergato | Dear Verbage, As a kitten I often played with bottles of bubble solution and blowers. We would chase bubbles for hours...literally. When we spilled them (as we inevitably did) we would act downcast till mom refilled the bottle with either some of her bubble bath in solution or some dove or dawn dishwashing soap in solution. She would always pour in a bit of catnip extract to make playtime more interesting for me and my friends. :>) Ubergato (Overcatus Chaseus) | |

Dear Ubi
How are you? I have a question.
Why is Mother's Day in May and not some other time of the year?
Hope all is well with you.
Yours truly, SDM |

As a mom of two (currently fighting ) kids I offer my humble opinion as to why Mother's Day is in May. It's almost time for school to let out. Kids will be home all summer long. Having Mother's Day in May gives us moms something to consider when we need to dig deep in our reserves of loving patience during the summer months. When the kids have begun whining "mommmm, I'm bored. It's hot. There's nothing to do!" (usually way before Independence Day) we can gaze upon the beautiful hand-drawn cards and remember that yes, indeed, we do love our kids, and they love us too. Really they do. |
