Just looking at the strange doings across the line in IL with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich getting indicted and reading all of the neighborly shenanigans makes me wonder: Can statehood be rescinded?

This is why I want to move out of the States...
 before I get kicked out!
And I am still so young!

Do you want to be a Senator from Illinois?  You can bid on eBay for the seat.

illinois seems to be stuck in dirty mire....
can anything good come out of all
that mud and dirty
politics???
i am so sick of the bad news...
any thing good happening?
my (2) sons lost their jobs, and can be counted in the
millions out there..
a search in the jobs are bad news, there aren't any.
so the house he was trying to get is gone...
with the job....
and we are all looking for answers,
including now moving
before the end of the month.

gasp

My son-in-law is looking at being laid off in the next two or three months.  This is a rocky time.  We're economizing in anticipation of having to help out.  I'm no longer thinking of retiring.  I'd go nuts, anyway!
