I went to a 4th of July cookout and someone brought brownies...but not JUST brownies.  She had baked her brownies as usual, and then melted Reese's peanut butter cups and poured on top as a frosting, of sorts.  Have mercy!

I am not a fan of peanut butter candy, but that sounds so good to me right now.  I never thought that I was particularly fond of sweet things.  Chocolate doesn't count, because it is one of the food groups, but now that I have this stoopid diabetes and cannot have any sweets until I get my blood glucose levels under control, and then not even very much, I seem to see fabulous sweet things wherever I go.  There is a grocery in our town that has the best eclairs.  The chocolate on top is the real deal and crunches and snaps when you bite into the pastry.  Man, a sugar-free gelatin cup is simply not doing it for me.  I bet that I dream about those brownies tonight.
