Here is a link to the reasons why you should be hiding your e-mail address:

Protect your e-mail and other personal info

Before you can begin to do so, you should make sure that you are signed-in to your MSN account.  Some of you will have registered through the msn.com, and some through the hotmail.com.

If you are not sure how to sign-in, please see this link:

How to sign-in

Now that you are signed-in, you will see your member name in the space indicated.

Scroll down to the bottom of the left-hand column menu on the page.

Then, click-on "Member Tools."

On the "Member Tools" page you will see lots of choices.  The one that you want to use is "Check your e-mail settings."  Click-on that to take you to the next page.

The "E-mail Settings" page will give you several options for how you want to participate in receiving information from our site, but the option that you need is to make sure that there isn't a check-mark in the little box that is below the space where you will see your actual e-mail address.

If the little box is blank, leave it like that.

If the little box has a check-mark inside of it, just click-on the box, and the check-mark will disappear.

Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure that you click-on the pink bar that says "Save Changes."

This is what the "Save Changes" bar looks like.

That's it.  You have now hidden your e-mail address and are just a little bit safer on the Internet.
