This image will help other people begin to understand what you experience from your symptoms.

This is an outstanding simulation. I've found myself showing this to friends, family, etc. to say. "Hey you guys, take a look at this. This is what it looks like for me sometimes." Way better than the descriptions I've tried to provide over the years. Peace.

Yes, it is a great image. Even though no single example could express all the different ways that SOM manifests for each of us, it truly is a wonderful way to help other people, family, friends and doctors, understand a bit of what we experience with our symptoms.

We have PhilVTN2 to thank for this creating this image and Pete for rescueing it from one of our previous, lost sites.  Both of them were part of the earliest gathering and fostering of people with SOM.  That august group deserves our thanks for where we are today.  Um...exactly where are we again?  Oh, that's right, we are over a hundred SOMers who have the opportunity to support one another whilst sharing our stories, complaining our heads off and offering to each other the most normal life possible.

Tony, thanks for the opportunity to once again mention that small band of misfit-sufferers who found one another on the Internet and made it possible for the rest of us to gather together.  Jeanie was also one of those pioneers, but I'll stop naming them now because I will surely leave someone out.

Oh goodness, I have shown this image many many times to family.  They don't seem to understand what it is like for us wonky eyed sufferers.  Thanks for keeping it new juds!  It's amazing.....
