which I try to do at least once a month to fix any broken links.  There is always at least one, and it makes no sense to have them there if they don't work.

Another thing about those links that doesn't make any sense is the way in which they are organized.  Or, mostly, not so organized.

So, when I was fixing a link, I decided that it would be a great idea to finally categorize them into SOM issues.  I've wanted to do this for a long time, but keep forgetting about it.  Besides, both of those pages are as full as they are able to be, and I have more abstracts to which I want to place links, and that would require a third and possibly a fourth page.  Too ponderous and confusing to have that many pages, don't you think?  Especially since the left-hand menu here does not give much space for identifying them.

This is what I have in mind.  There would no longer be two pages on our site for the listing of abstracts, citations, articles and PDF files.  There would be one page similar to this image that I just made on Paint.  Then, when you clicked on that Abstracts Page, you would have a list of links dedicated to particular aspects and issues regarding SOM.

Let me know what you think.  Do you think that this will make it easier to find things, and please let me know what additional categories you think might be helpful.

Here's a sample page.  I have a hot breakfast date in the morning, so I won't get back to make the other pages until the afternoon.  I hope.

Thank you so much to everyone who e-mailed me with their ideas for the new pages for abstracts.  Great ideas, and I incorporated all of them.

The typeface is now larger, making it easier to read.  Some of the link URLs are a little smaller, however, to keep them from causing the page to be too wide, but that shouldn't be a problem.  If it is, just let me know and I will fix it.

The pages are listed in order of the progression of the SOM journey for most of us.  Individual instances will certainly vary, but this order should be comfortable to use.

I like the ideas of having a separate page for chiropractic techniques, and will create that page as soon as I find some online references to its use for persons with SOM.

I will also be adding the use of the gamma knife in neurosurgery to the surgery page.  I haven't been able to find any references to its use for SOM, and am waiting for permissions for a couple of links with general information on gamma knife surgery.

If you have any other links or resources that you want included in these pages, just let me know and I will add them.

Oh, the main page for abstracts is: •Abstracts

Added another link in general, and three gamma knife information links in surgery.  That's all for today.

By the way, a couple of months ago I hid a joke/humor page on our site, but I don't think that anyone has found it.
