Ok, everybody.  Look (heh heh) over here for a minute.  When you next scroll through the helpful menu at the left side of your "Everybody Loves a SOMer" home page, look for the little barely visible topic, "Vision in the news".

Hereafter, all you confidence in your fearless (unless she is in mid coffee-pouring ballerina act) leader may be severely challenged.  You will realize that this organized and helpful person is in fact, a mad scientist with a brain that is able to spin out the juiciest absurdities and then tuck them away for us to discover.  Oh man--after my most recent visit to my family of origin, I am sorely tempted to distract myself by suggesting a challenge:  "Best Menu Item of 2008"--the only criteria being that there can be nothing sensible in the whole thing, and it will force you to laugh yourself off of your chair.  However, I need a week or two to recover first.  Sheeeeesh.

Anyway, at least it proves that I do avail myself of all that good material that is being collected.  And oh, man, I am so easily duped!

It's been there since the middle of September.

Is that the thing you were dangling out there and sort of challenging us to find? I kept looking, but if I actually did get it, then it makes my day.  Especially after the aforementioned latest visit to the cradle of my genetic heritage.

It is ever true that the best hiding place is in full sight.  Yep, that's an SOM joke, too.
