Number one...sorry I haven't been on in a while.  It's this new darn job.  All I do is work work work.  Basically, it stinks.  It's a bad place to work, and I could go on and on.  I am really surprised I'm not wonking out from all of this.  Ok...now on the the good part.  It's finally Spring in Illinois!  I don't believe it...I get to mow the lawn!  Woo Hoo!  Well, I will try to get on here later and catch up on some reading.  Another good thing....interview with cvs pharmacy on Tuesday...keep your fingers crossed for this old lowly wonky pharmacy tech, cause I really want the job, since the pharmacy is 2 blocks from my house.  Bye....Kel

Congratulations on the new employment prospect and the arrival of fair weather!!!!!!

Of course we hope that you get the job of your dreams (or at least one close to home!) and are crossing everying that it is possible to cross for you.  Fingers, eyes (yes, that's an SOM joke), legs, arms and the rest.  I'd even be willing to cross purposes for you for a day or so, if you think it will help.   I think that a job to which you could walk would be divine.  I'd be happy to be able to bike or ride the bus these days.  A friend of mine works for a grocery chain, and they built a new store across the street from her house last year, to which she quickly transferred.  It now takes her less than five minutes to get to work.  How cool is that.

Spring has arrived here, as well, but everything is leafing out very slowly this year and the ground has been too wet to get the gardens planted.  Actually, I could have done it last week, but I instead chose to spend the time with my grandson.  Oh, and we found out last Thursday that the September baby is going to be another boy.  My daughter and her husband were really hoping for a girl this time, but I am thrilled that I will have another little boy with whom I can cause all kinds of mayhem.  Truth be told, I did the same mischief with my daughter, but the thought of two little boys with whom I can raise heck is just too delicious.  Children grow up so quickly, and I plan to spend every moment possible with them until they are old enough to realize that grandma isn't all that cool a companion.

Don't worry about not being in contact, Kel.  We all have actual lives, and one of our basic tenets here is that there isn't any obligation to post or participate, although I secretly do wish that our group was more active, but that's another story.  That you do is fabulous, and I always love reading what you write, but please do not worry about it, although I always miss you terribly when you are busy doing other things.

Speaking of the lawn, I have been having a dickens of a time finding a reel mower anywhere around here.  I am going to be very upset if I am forced to buy one online instead of buying locally.
