Hi all. It's been a long time since I've been here. For those of you new to the group I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been in remission for a long time, but when my som was acting up I found this sight so very helpful. I still keep in touch with Juds and she has always been an inspiration to me. As bad as hers would be she still could always make me laugh. ( That might be because she's a little nuts.) But with som sometimes that helps too. lol
Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say hi and hang in there. I hope some day you may all be in remission too. If you want to contact me my e-mail is [email protected]. Be sure to put som on the subject line or i may not open it.

Hey, it was nice talking to you the other day.  I forgot to reply here before I logged off, and, so I made a special trip back to say "Hey" to our prodigal twitcher.  That was a nice thing that you said about me making you laugh, but I would have been entirely content if you'd left out the 'nuts' part.  Sheesh.

I did forget to ask you something when we were chatting a few days ago, being much too busy complaining about my pathecic life to ask you if your daughter-in-law ever found any victims...errr...subjects...errr...grateful individuals (yeah, that's the ticket!) on which to work her PT magic?  It has been about three years since you shared with us that she was looking to test her theories about helping people like us with her techniques and methods, and I am wondering how that research of hers might be progressing.

You know, just because you are one of the lucky remissioners, you can still pop in here once in a while to share other aspects of your really, quite interesting life.  I am sure that I am not the only one ( we do still hear from Jeanie, Kel and Gail and some others) who would appreciate hearing about golf, or whatever it is you and your husband are doing these days.  Did I mention that it has been threee years since we heard from you?

For those of you who have joined us since we lost our two previous sites, Pat and I were supposed to get together a few years/decades ago, but she and her husband were wary of her meeting someone that she met on the Internet.  Even though we had been talking on our site.  Even though we had been Messenger chatting for ages.  Even though I, the huge security-conscious, scaredy-cat, was willing to drive down to see her and have pork steaks.  They thought that I might be a serial killer, but they had the spelling wrong (cereal) and the only thing at risk from me would have been Cheerios, or more likely raisen bran or shredded wheat.  Still, it never happened, but I am holding hope that it might someday, although, after all these years, I seriously doubt that the pork steaks could live up to the hype.

Anyway, it remains a happy event that you popped in here to say "Hey!!!"

I promise I'll be in more often. I have to so I can see how many boxes of cereal you've killed. In answer to your question the family is doing good. Hubby and I are still playing golf, if that's what you can call what we do. Grandkids are getting big.
One problem we have had is that my daughter-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct. She had surgery and them chemo and is doing great. She starts reconstructive surgery on the 24th. Even though it hadn't spread I'd still like you all to say a prayer for her. She has been working all along but less days. She still hasn't found anyone in our area with som to try her therapy on.But she still thinks it might help So if anyone is in or near the St. Louis area let me know and I'll explain the therapy.
Jeannie, are you still standing on your head in the bathtub on the first Tues. with a full moon singing show tunes? See I haven't forgotten you all. Hope to hear from more of you.
Pat
