We got hit with an awful storm....in my immediate area it affected at least 3 cities.  Hopefully these pics will post well.  The snapped pole was 3 blocks from my house...tons of wires down, I don't know how many trees.  No power for days...some not yet.  As usual, I was completely in the dark!  This occured on July 21.  Luckily, my neighborhood sustained no great damage...but others weren't so lucky.

Those storms are icky, alright.  We had one around here, but I cannot remember what it was called, some kind of a burst or something.  A neighbor lost their glass-topped patio table, which, fortunately was made of safety glass, but it was still scary.

I'm guessing that when you say As usual, I was completely in the dark! that you were referring to the loss of electric power, and not your ordinary clueless state!   But, I could be wrong.

How's the job going?

ha ha....well, the job.  It's grand....not extremly overwhelmingly busy, but we are gonna get our names out there within the week.  Strictly word of mouth is what we are going by.  Not a lot of stress so far, but a wee bit of boredom, however, I shall not complain.  And funny you should mention my clueless state, as one of my pharmacists said "So, in other words, you are still in the dark?".  On the negative side, my eye is a wee bit twitchy, but not altogether bad.  yay.
