  2. What was your beginning dosage (amount and number of times a day)?

Please include:

  1. When did you begin taking this med? 1993
  2. What was your beginning dosage (amount and number of times a day)? 0.5mg twice a day
  3. How was your dosage increased, and to what levels? n/a
  4. How has this med helped/benefited you (please be specific)? may have helped a bit in the severity of the spasms, but not much
  5. What side effects are you having/did you have (please be specific)?  extremely bad headache..had to counteract with vicodin
  6. How long have you/did you take this med? about 4 weeks
  7. If you have stopped taking this med, why did you stop? due to the headaches
  8. Your thoughts about your experience with this med. simply did not agree with me.

2.   .5 mg twice a day for anxiety (at night for sleep)
3.   N/A
4.   Anxiety reduced, sleep increased
5.   None
6.   Still taking it
7.   N/A
8.   Prior to this I took xanax for sleep but the doctor wanted to put me on something less addictive.    Am also taking effexor for PTSD in association with Hurricane Katrina.     Both have helped me tremendously.

  2. .125mg before bed
  3. Worked up to .125mg 3x/day; continued adding .125mg every two weeks.  (as of 2/'07, I'm at .25mg 3x/day)
  4. Not sure yet.  Probably some benefit as to the range of the motion.
  5. Only being tired (but I am also taking Neurontin)
  6. Still taking and building up as of 02/'07

  8. After the very first night of taking the med, the next moring I did not experience the ~5 minutes of spasms that always existed.  At the time I was on a higher dose of Neurontin (2100/day).  So, I am hopeful this will help.  The combination of my meds just makes it especially difficult to get moving in the morning (so tired).

  2. What was your beginning dosage (amount and number of times a day)? (1/2) 0.5mgs starting out the first night, then (1) 0.5 mgs the following night, then (1 ) the next morning, then (2) 0.5 mgs the next night following (2 ) the next morning.
  3. How was your dosage increased, and to what levels? Same as above!!
  4. How has this med helped/benefited you (please be specific)? So far I dont see a difference!!
  5. What side effects are you having/did you have (please be specific)? I am extremely tired!! Very out of it all the time!!
  6. How long have you/did you take this med? I m still taking, Ive been on it for only a few days so far.
  7. If you have stopped taking this med, why did you stop? N/A
  8. Your thoughts about your experience with this med. So far it hasnt helped, but I m still giving it alittle longer to see if itll work!

  1. UPDATE!!! I saw my Doctor 4/6/2007, She had me stop the medication. Because it wasnt helping, if anything it was making it worse.
