The only thing I know about my Native American heritage is that my birth name is Ross, my father's name is James F. Ross, and my Grandfather's name (the one i get the Cherokee from) was James Ross. Unfortunately both he and my grandmother (name Maybelle Dorothea Reynolds) are dead and my father has not tried to help me at all at finding out our ancestors. I know that my grandfather's family came from Scotland but thats about it. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
