Boozhoo Brothers & Sisters, I have lived in Australia since I was a small boy. I was vaguely aware of my Ainishinabe heritage, but it was played down by my family as they were for some reason embarrassed by the fact. I am very proud to be who I am and am trying to learn more about it every day.

I have walked the red road from childhood, but was never certain about my Native American family's tribal heritage until several years ago, whenI had a vision about my ancestors.I found that my grandfather Morgan was Cherokee. Recently I found him on the Guion Miller roles of 1909. I am being guided by elders and a holy man, with whom I am preparing to have a sweat, and am trying to get the paperwork to join a band here in Tennessee. My wife's family is also Cherokee and some of them have traced their heritage back to a war chief. I am a teacher, although at present displaced. I have a 26 year old son who is in college to become a teacher as well. Thankyou for inviting me to join the Wakan Circle

I live in Ohio and have lived here all my life. I am 2nd child of three and yes I am the baby girl.LOL I Am in the process of recouperating from a accident,and working on a book for my poetry.
