During this week in 1680, the final knots of the countdown cords were untied and the Pueblo Revolt began. After five years of planning Native nations in the area banded together under the leadership of Po'Pay to drive out the Spanish Government from ancestral lands. The revolt is noted as one of the most successful Native uprisings of the West.
