Dear AROL, has been some time since this ole gal has been in here.
My prayers are that all of you are doing well and God/Creators light touches you. Welcome new members!!
We are into tornado weather, one almost touching ground in a town not too far from us. We had one of those thunder storms which I love listening to, last night. My prayers go out to all those who lost their power due to the storms and tornadoes and earthquakes world wide.
We lost power last night during our storm which made it uncomfortable for hubby as he has sleep apnea. He has a back up tank but is not the same. The house was quite and dark and I found it restfull, but the power came back on.. LOL. Hubby did have a better time when his machines clicked on. It sure got hot today and made me shudder just thinking about the summer's heat and humidity... it wasn't that long ago we had s-n-o-w ..  LOL.
We've been smoking meats and other foods on the cooker on the weekends. Yum! If it was up to hubby his breakfast would be cooked out there, too.
Love and light, inner peace to all.. 'ole Real

Hi Real,

Good to see you posting.  I hope the flooding and the rains will let up soon.  We are having a little break of temps in the 80s and low 90s yesterday and today after 6 days of over 100 degree weather.  The rain keeps missing us.  Everytime it comes this way, it seems to split and half goes north of us and the rest goes south of us. lol  I still have to go out in the heat and water to keep the plants alive.   Yummy the food smoked in the cooker sounds great!  How did your air tomatoes do?

It will be interesting to see what happens with the weather this Summer.  I have heard people say they have not seen weather like they are getting this year since the 1950s so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Am still thinking about that cooker and the yummy food.  Maybe because I haven't had breakfast yet? lol

Love in Light and Peace,
Winds

Hi Winds, so good to see you here. I was worried how you all were doing with the storms. We too have had a huge storm cluster coming our way but breaks up before it gets into our little neck of the woods. A city south of us, (can't remember the name...) evacuated 15,000 because of high water. Our own little river here has run over it's banks but has gone down. Then to day it was back up for some hours then back down again. It has been an interesting spring. I think mother earth just goes in her cycle as does the weather. Hubby says he will tolerate the heat in the 80's and humidity as long as he can thinking of how costly everything is right now. I filled our van today at $81.00... ouch! I found our youngest grand baby will take a nap if granny drives her around..LOL. But... today she didn't. She was too busy looking out the window and discovered "if' she stuck her hands out the window... it was very interesting..LOL. It's worth that to get her to take a nap as it is hard while her older sister is now on summer vacation..LOL. Too busy!!
The areo garden of tomatoes are doing well. Youngest grandbaby loves them as does granny..LOL. So hubby and I only got a couple, while she gobbled them up as soon as they were ready for picking and some not..LOL. Our electricity had gone out a few times and so the garden's light timing had gone askew..LOL. So it does have some new green tomatoes now but none are ready.  And she checks them out every day. We have had a lot of rain and by the looks of the foamy stuff going down our river, the farmers have lost a lot of fertilizer. It makes me wonder if we will be getting one of those old fashioned winters this year that I remember.
That smoked cooking is really good..LOL.
I pray all is well with all of you and yours as it seems to be here. Prayer is an awesome thing and what keeps me in calm.
Love and light, dear Winds and to all members.
Inner peace, ole Real
