Hi, Cathy: Welcome to the group! I'm glad to meet you, especially since you are a teacher. Even though you aren't teaching now, you're still a teacher. I, too, am a former teacher, and I miss it very much. Nearly 30 years ago, after just 11 years of teaching third grade, I decided to move to Virginia (from Connecticut) to live near my sister. The problem was that I didn't apply for a new position to go to! I thought that I could find another teaching position easily, like when I got my first job. Boy, was I wrong!! The years flew by quickly, and I had to settle for substitute teaching. I became disabled with arthritis and obesity, so had to quit that. But, teaching is still in mmy blood. I hope you enjoy this group, and that we get to know you better! Love and peace, Janna |

Hi, Cathy: I'm very sorry! You didn't say that you aren't a teacher now. That was very careless of me. Please forgive me. Love and peace, Janna |
