Hi everyone,...pale, you're a champion. hey...... i'm just gonna write some stuff...... a couple of days ago .i got out of the shower and said to my wife......why do you have to wash faceclothes???think about it.......it gets washed all the time....i know ...she thinks i'm weird too.......umm....oh....hi to all the new kids ..... ahh........right now as i'm typing this someone in the neighbor hood just lit off some really loud fireworks....lordy ...i'm not kiddin....i just nearly....had to change my clothes......man.....feels like i pulled a muscle..and i typed twenty seven H's............ahhh...what else............ two days ago i saw a few cardinals in the back yard...after a while i noticed that they kept flying to a small tree in the back of the yard.....so i put down my favorite summer beverage down, and said....hey hon, i think that there is a cardinals nest in the back there...she smiled and rolled her eyes as nature boy (her words) goes to see if there is a nest....so i look at one side of the tree bush thing and i could not see one ....so i go over to the other side and i see a small collection of leaves...it didn't look like a nest ....so i creep in a little closer and ...blam the bird flies out of the nest and we both let out a starttled whelp........this of course causes fits of laughter from the peanut gallery.........i was surprised at how small the nest is...but i couldn't examine it too closely cuz momma bird was not diggin nature boy so close to the nest so i went back to my beverage and smiled ...cuz i'm gonna get me some good pictures of my new little buddies.................. i guess the theme was .....i been gettin the crap scared out of me lately..........well i guess that's it for now love acorn |

Hi Acorn, Had to tell you you sure make me laugh... You had quite the time of it there didn't you? I like your wash cloth humor..took me a minute to get that lol... They haven't started with the fireworks here yet.... It wont be long tho will it before we hear all that noise..I love the fireworks (that they put in the sky) just not the noise of fire crackers.. Have a nice weekend and drop a line again we need a good laugh..I like your sense of humor..we all need to laugh its good for us. Take care, Pale |

last weekend, my husband decided to cut off the dates that had grown on our date palm trees. He had gone fairly high up one and found a bird's nest with eggs and a dead mother standing by the nest. Dale said, she died about 1 year ago, but somehow had not fallen out of the tree!!
Living in a very natural place, one day I decided to check how many birds were in our back yard. There were 7 with wings, one quail, who gently walks from one shade spot to another and our young bunny who visits our back yard (and front) about once a day.
We live on Reservation land, our yards are gravel with many trees and bushes that have beatiful flowers almost year round and our front yard is cactus and palm trees and colored gravel!!
We have lived in this home for 3 years last Sunday. It is the only house we have had that has no grass, but it does make taking care of it much easier.
Each of us have different stuff that pops up at our home everyday.
Variety is what makes our lives so much better!!
