Greetings to all my family,
Sorry I didn't make it back like I thought, so this time I won't say I am definitely back yet. lol This summer has been a series of ups and downs. The weather started out beautifully and it was so nice to be able to have windows open and nice breezes flowing through the house. Alas, it ended abruptly and we roasted all summer until now. Now the weather is nice and cool, but of course since it is nearer harvest time the pollen and other farm induced dust occurences are happening it makes it difficult to have the windows open when suffering from allergies. lol I guess the sneezing does tend to clear out the head. lol
We have spent most of the summer in the house with air conditioning because of problems Phoenix has with his legs swelling so badly in summer with the heat and it is worse since he sits in his wheelchair most of the time. We do manage though. I managed to keep the tomato plants alive and most of the flowers, but have had alot of trouble with pests trying to destroy the rose bushes, the lilac bush and other various decorative plants. I have managed to save them, but they sure look scraggly right now, but the roses are beautiful that they produce, so that makes it okay. We have been enjoying fresh tomatoes and that is wonderful.
Life seems to take many twists and turns and this summer it seems I have been an observer and participant of many this summer it seems. My fibro pain went out of control during the heat and my depression grew, but amidst it all I have time to observe and think, plus reading alot. It seems Fall might be creeping up on us a little early, but I have learned not to trust the cool days of August to last completely. lol I hope I am wrong, but I will be on the lookout for those last few hot days that August and September bring at times. I hope all of you are enjoying nice weather now and looking forward to the next season.
I hope to be here more and be able to write on the boards more. I miss all of you and hope to read some things you wish to express and tell us about.
