STEPS TO BUILDING OPTIMAL HEALTH

STEP ONE : Detoxification

I would venture to say most people , eating foods ladin with white flour, refinded sugars , man-made oils, genetically engineered processed proteins, chemical presevatives and food colorings have a body that is ripe for the growth of bacteria , viruses , fungues and cancer causing cells. What is needed is to open up the elimination channels to rid the garbage that is built up over the years. This toxic waste is stored mostly in the liver and fat cells of the body .

The first step would be to do a fast, three days is a good start. Even one day is much better than none. If you have never fasted before one day might be all you can handle so start off slow and build up to more days. Fasting is a great way to detox the body giving the organs a rest helping it to heal naturally. By fasting as little as three days a month you can help rebuild your immune system to help fight off diseases and illness. Sickness may be the body's way of saying, " hey" my immune system is overloaded do something!!! . Let's face it we are bombarded by toxins every single day, in our water, air, the chemicals we clean our homes with , the foods we eat, things they spray on the foods we eat. The planet as you probably already know is mostly a toxic waste land.

Here are a few simple steps you can take to help detox your body, these are no by no means the only things you can do, but a few things that are simple and very effective .

1.Drink at least 1/2 your body weight each day of good clean water. Use distilled for flushing out toxins. if you drink only distilled water be sure you get the minerals it lacks from some other source, you can buy liquid minerals at the health food store and add them to the water if you like . but while detoxing use only the water without the minerals. Note : you will be going to the bathroom often remember you are elimanating toxins. the kidneys are a great elimination system. also if you wait until you are thirsty ; you are already dyhydrated. Drink lots  of water and drink often.

2. Fasting: there are some side effects to fasting so be aware of them .. you might feel flu like symptoms..this is simply the body ridding its self of toxins dont panic . drink a litte more water as you are possibly getting dyhydrated and that is why you are feeling flu like.

Here is the best detox receipe I have ever found its cheap and easy to make and use it also taste pretty good too..

I almost always say to use organic when I write these things, if you cannot find or afford them, than use what you can find both ways are okay just try to find the best you can and make sure you wash it well..

Master Cleanser

3/4 full gallon jug distilled water or other pure water

4-6 fresh / organic lemmons

B or C grade maple syrup ( if you can get fresh get it unfilted ) this stuff is packed with trace minerals and other nutrients!

Good pinch of the hotest cayenne pepper you can find .. 90,000 H.U. is what I use , African Bird is the hottest I know of its 180,000 H. U.

squeeze the lemons into the water and add the remaining items. add a little bit more hot pepper just for good measure.

The point is to drink this stuff all day long try to drink it all I use a gallon a day per each day of fasting.

NOTE : DO NOT USE THIS CLEANSER FOR MORE THAN 10days in a row.

If you decide to do a fast of longer than a day or two you should ask your health care provider if you are healthy enough to do this.

You can use this for a fast of one of more days.

THE DO NOTS OF fasting

Do not just start a fast with out preparing the body first .. to do so eat only raw or organic foods for a couple of days prior to the start of any fast this helps the body ready itself for the fast. DO not eat any meat.

Do not chew gum while fasting as this starts the digestive process and juices flowing and that is harmful to they system.

DO not use just water to fast .

Do not drink orange or tomatoe juice while fasting

Do not eat a big meal after fasting , break the fast slowing by eating something light such as hot cereal or steamed veggies gradually add things back into your diet meat should be last.

I just got the chance to really read this and start thinking about when I am going to start it. I know my body needs this detoxing.
