Dear Winds, Being spiritual for me is just exactly what you said.

For me, I feel very connected with God/Creator and Jesus. I feel their presence and my prayers are always answered even in those times when at first I did not see.

I see God/Creator in all things.. God/Creator's beauty in all things and am always awed, inspired and always so thankful that I may see these things and that my heart is so filled with love, most times.

As you know, I have this strange weird sense of humor and 'so' enjoy seeing people smile and hope my weirdness.. helps them see a brighter side to life that may not always show its' self. Life can be hard, a struggle, but I hope in some small way.. in my small way, my strange funny bone can put a smile.. laughter,  in place of tears or a saddened heart ..and let others know they are not alone.

Just this past Saturday, at work, a gal was in tears telling me about her sad family life. Tears streamed down her face and yet she smiled and laughed.. and through hugs and my silliness.. her burden was lifted. For me, a burden lifted, even if momentarily..is a wonderful spiritual experience, especially when others may feel/sense they were touched in some way with God/Creator's love through goodness and kindness.  

I once asked my God/Creator to allow me to help others. And I must say, careful of what you ask for... cause God/Creator will answer... I have been given wonderful spiritual experiences that I have shared with others and in turn, they too realized they had spiritual experiences and really find thay can talk about them. That, too, is a spiritual lift .

What made me spiritual is allowing my God/Creator to fill my heart and soul with love for all humanity in what ever way I can help, making some one's life feel a little hopeful. And letting them know that some body really cares.
