1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5 (6-7 inch) flour tortillas
Non-stick cooking spray
1 cup cold milk
1 package (4-serving size)
Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
1 container (8 ounces) process cream cheese NOTE: I used 4 ozs. Neufchatel cheese & 4 ozs. regular cream cheese. Neufchatel cheese is like cream cheese, but has stronger flavor and gives this treat a robust taste... we like it better.
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP
enough thinned chocolate syrup or your favorite used as a garnish
Heat oven to 350*.
Combine sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Set aside.
Spray each tortilla with spray. Sprinkle scant 1/2teaspoon cinnamon-sugar mixture . Turn tortillas over; repeat. Cut each totilla into 4 wedges. Stand rounded edge of each wedge in bottom of muffin cup, curling sides in to fit cup.
Bake 10 minutes or till crisp and lightly brown. Cool in pan.
Pour milk into large mixing bowl, add the pudding. Mix on low speed or till well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the cream cheese, beating on medium speed untill smooth. Gently stir in cool whip. Can chill 1 hour but I like it not as firm.
When ready to serve, fill each tortilla shell with pudding mixture. Drizzle chocolate (or spoon) on top.
This is absolutely delicious and will shock you. Bet ya can't eat just one.
