Thank you, you always find the right words to say, it has taken me 2 weeks to tell you about Sarah, after all the lovely messagers she had from you all, I think I was embarrassed and ashamed to tell you, and sending the pictures broke the ice and gave me the courage, stupid I know, because I knew you would understand.

Been busy painting today, its a slow job, my doctor stopped the tablets she gave me for my fibro so my hand started to play up I had to stop work and suffer till my painkillers and cream kicked in, it was agony I'm sure men don't suffer like we do, and we work as hard as they do lol, this is a lovely cup of tea, but I am off to chat now, see you in there.

I realy need a coffee now lol  I am so ashamed of myself,  my friend Dianne and I went shopping today I needed some warm trouses for walking the dogs, I went to the store to order my food to be delivered, and came back home with some potatoes and apples no trouses I never bought a thing to wear, there is something deffinately wrong with me, my car kept stalling thats going to go to the garage on thurs, more money, and I rang my old friend Marina its her birthday today, and she had told me a while ago she had met an old flame and she was realy happy, she is a widow,  I asked her today if she was still seeing this old flame, she said yes we are coming to Nottingham to buy an engagement ring on wednesday and bringing me an invite to their engagement party, I'm so happy for her she has lived alone for years and she sounds so happy its as if she has come alive again, I can't stop smiling for her, the only time she went out was before I moved away we went to bingo twice a week, and after I left she only went out to go to town shopping with her daughter on tuesdays and he was driving the taxi they had, he slipped her a note asking her out, how romantic she did'nt recognise him but he remembered her and she got 2 dozen red roses this morning for her birthday, is'nt life wonderful God is so good he smiled down on her and changed her life.

We have had a very wet day today but we did'nt get too wet shopping. and I fell asleep when I got back, Amy woke me tapping my hand to go outside but it was too wet to go for a walk so, we had a lazy evening watching TV, well I have finished my drink and rattled on a bit so I will leave you in peace you all take care.

Hi Winds and friends

I thought I would pop in for a quick coffee before I take the dogs out, its go when you can at the moment lol, we have had so much rain lately and Tammy hates the rain she has such short legs it makes her tummy wet and they do like to go on the grass, Tilly the cat goes with us now much to everyones amusement, she runs around the park with my dogs lol, and although she is a nervous cat she never bothers about other dogs as long as they don't chase her lol, I enjoy it so much watching them happily playing about. its very windy and cold today, we were warned about gales on TV yesterday so its wrap up warm and off we go.bye for now take care.

  I brought a few cups of coffee over to warm us all up..lol  I hope you are all enjoying your day or night or whatever it is at this time for you. lol  Will be looking forward to seeing some of you up here on the porch soon.  I sure miss the conversations. hehehehe

What a lovely story about the cake Winds, it is nice to find love again, although I always said I would'nt want anyone after my Michael passed on, but you never know what is round the corner.

Well we just got home from the park yesterday, and the heavens opened as we say, we had a wonderful thunder storm and giant hail stones we are getting some freak weather over here, and we had one last night, lol I love it, people think I'm mad but who cares theres beauty in the skies, we are also getting a lot of fireworks going off, its getting near bonfire night Amy gets so scared.

Today has been a sad day for us, I don't know if I told you we had a 14yr old girl Daniel shot when she was walking home from the fair 2 weeks ago, it was a drive bye 2 men have been charged with her murder, her mum came on TV and said Daniel had said to her as she lay in her arms waiting for an ambulances am I going to die mummy and she said, no you are not going to die darling, and now she has problems coming to terms with what she said poor woman, it has caused a lot of outrage in Nottingham there has been quite a few gun crimes this last year, A meeting was arranged in Nottingham City centre to pay respects to Daniel and a minutes silence at 12 30pm there was over 5 thousand people in the centre and every shop in Nottingham closed, transport stopped and everyone where ever they were stood still,  Daniels favourite colours was Pink and Lavender so we all wore pink and lavender ribbons and there was a sea of flowers, her school friends all carried a pink rose to leave on the ground, and crowds stood where she had been shot and laid flowers there a Gospel Chior from her church sang her favourite songsI have never seen anything like it before in Nottingham it was so touching and I thought I would share it with you,

Hi Everyone, 'been awhile since the porch has been visited. The cool rainy weather must be keeping every one a way. ... and no wonder! LOL.

We are having lots of misty rain and coolness. Reckon that ole weather man knew what he was talking about.  That lawn mower is finally put away, Acorn...hehehe.

My washer and dryer is in the process of being moved to the main floor. No more running down those basement steps!!!! .. for laundry any ways.

Must duck back out into that rain and head on home.

Hi Winds and Everyone

I am going to sit and have a coffee with you all, I need some relaxation lol, I started a new volunteering job today working in the local Blind shop, they sell secondhand and new stuff donated by the public to raise money for the Blind, I met a lot of new people and I enjoyed it, I had a busy day because I work for Credit Union on Thursday morning we are all volunteers and CU lend money to the poor and encourage them to save as well, it stops them going to loan sharks and CU only charge 1% interest on the loan so it helps a lot of people to get out of debt with the sharks who charge the double even treble interest. we also go into schools to encourage children to save, its good.

I take back all I said about Tilly Winds, Amy woke me at 3 30am this morning she heard Tilly up to something and there she was in the bathroom trying to retrieve something from behind the bath, I could'nt see anything (a bit like your snake) lol you know its there somewhere  but don't know where, so I went back to bed, and when I got up the dead mouse was there outside my bedroom door, Bless her  lol.

I hope your day was'nt too hard Winds and you have got your satellite working again, now you just have an easy weekend, peaceful,ok. we are still getting rain here not alot but enough lol, and the fireworks are getting worse I dread tomorrow the 5th that is the big day, my dogs will not go out to the toilet they are so scared I feel so sorry for them, I have to get them on the park before the kids come out of school, thats when it starts, well I am rambling on here, the chat and coffee was good, I will leave the cake, I'm on a diet, lol, well trying, lol.
