Hi, Friends: This morning, something unusual happened. Someone, who said he's a neighbor of mine, said he noticed that the window in my car was open as he was driving by! He offered to close it because it had started to drizzle and it looked like we'd have rain for most of the day at least. Wow! That was sooo very kind of him to go thru the trouble of stopping his car and going to my door to tell me and to offer to close the window, too! Things like this don't happen every day......but they should. We are supposed to be considerate and helpful to others. I know that God was very pleased about what that man did. It made my day, and it probably made him happy, too, because it probably makes us all feel good to help one another. It's nice to hear some good news for a change, so I wanted to share this with you! Do you have a story of brotherly love that you'd like to share with us? Love and peace, Janna |

Hi Janna and room, What a wonderful share... wow, this was really a wonderful thing to have happened to you.. Early last evening I also had something really nice happen, my neighbor saw me coming into he parking lot and waited, after saying hello he made a statement very gently that he was going to carry my pkgs. upstairs, and he proceeded to carry them up.. I was in awe, that he didn't ask, he wanted to be helpful and he was. It is nice to be able to share something nice that happened, too often we forget about them and go on to remember the negative things... Thank you, Janna for sharing your story, and such a nice one too.. Love, light and peace to you all, Betty |

Hi Janna and Betty, What wonderful good things you have shared. It's amazing that something wonderful like this happened to me and Phoenix Friday evening as we were coming home from the grocery store with the trunk full of our monthly groceries. We had a flat tire suddenly on a very dangerous curve and it upset us both because we had to pull over next to a very deep and steep ditch. I got out of the car and checked to see which tire had blown out and it was the back one on my side of the car. I knew I could not change it and was feeling a little panicky inside when I noticed a van that had passed us was turning around and coming back. It was a very nice family who asked if we were alright and I told them no, that my husband was disabled and I was not able to change the tire since it had blown out. The man and his son got out of the van and so did the women. The man and young man emptied the groceries out of the trunk and managed to find the jack and little spare tire and began to work on the tire. One of the women was out by the road directing traffic around us until the police came and took over doing it. The police knew Phoenix and were talking to him while the tire was being changed. When they were finished and they had put the groceries back in the trunk much fast than I could do it, the man turned around and I asked if we owed them anything and he said no, and shook my hand as I thanked him and told them all that they had been a wonderful blessing when they stopped to help us. When we got home, none of the glass jars in the groceries were not broken and neither were our eggs which I had my doubts about. I knew all along that God had blessed us with kind people on that road at that moment and felt it even more when none of the perishables were damaged in the unpacking and packing of the trunk. Yes, I think there are many wonderful stories of the good things that happen that we do not share enough. Janna and Betty you too experienced that great moment like us of how kind people really can be at any given time. Love in Light and Peace, Winds of Change |
