What do you think causes deja vu? (Deja Vu is when we find ourselves in a place or conversation that we have seen and heard before)

Dejavu is a term I have heard over and over in my life. I have experienced dejavu many times over and it always amazes me when it happens. It doesn't seem to happen to me as much now as it did when I was a child and into my late teens and early adulthood. I have heard many theories of how it happens and what it is, but I believe that our spirits travel to other times in our sleep and they see things that are going to happen and we remember them when they happen. I believe this is dejavu. For example, when I was a teenager, I went to stay with friends in California for 3 months. While I was there, my friends and I were driving around and suddenly I saw a V-shaped building set between two angled streets and I knew I had been there before even though it was my first time in California and way before computers were popular or even small enough to be in homes, so it was not from a picture or anything else that I was familiar with at that time. I had seen it before and was experiencing DejaVu. Other times it happened I would be sitting in a room with other people and suddenly I would know that I had been present another time when the conversation that was going on then happened. It was hard sometimes not to say what they were going to say before they said it, but I managed not to do that..lol If it is not my spirit that traveled to another time, then maybe it was something else that connected to my consciousness to show me something of the future and I was privileged to be present when it happened when I was present and wide awake. It is a bit of a mystery to me, but I am not afraid of it and am always amazed to know I have seen something before. Maybe someday I will have the answer.

Many believe in past lives...many more believe we live on parallel plains....dejavu could be easily be explain if we do live in parallel existances..example..if another plain was the same as this one...there.. let's say...we go to the park and have a picnic..here we decide to go to a park that we've never been to and have a picnic...while there..dejavu occures..we KNOW we've been there before.

I'm not sure of the spiritual beliefs of others and I do not debate them and perfer not to have mine questioned...but I will say I believe we are ALL interconnected..one spirit..like the leaves of one tree..although in seperate shells..we are a part of Creator..the Great Spirit..God. Dajavu could also be explained using interconnection..all spirits belong to one..the Great Spirit...so keeping this in mind it could be safe to say when dajavu occurs it is because we are sharing the experience or memories of another spirit.

Just giving you another avenue to exployer.

I, too believe in connections between everything.

I have read and thought alot about parallel existances and I agree that they could explain DejaVu.
