Dear Family,
I believe that each of us have our own beliefs and sometimes have personal spiritual experiences that some feel very comfortable sharing with others and others do not feel like they should share their experiences or are too shy. I believe that spiritual experiences are given to us for a reason and that reason is to give hope and knowledge to others. Being spiritual to me is the learning to accept that there will be some rough times and many good times, but through it all spirituality is always with us if we let it and we often learn many new things when things are rough that are meant to be shared in order to help others who are going through similar things to give hope and help others to get back on their paths and to feel that joy again of loving their Creator/God and feeling so happy to be able to tell of the wonderful things they learn.
I agree that our spiritual paths are something we travel by ourselves alot of times when we are learning to grow and to know what our path is all about, but often we travel side by side with others paths and share many experiences as the paths that are working together at times all have a job to do and all have to do their jobs together in order to complete whatever it is they were chosen to do while together. Sometimes those jobs don't get completed, but that does not mean a persons path ends because things didn't go as planned. It means that maybe your path will join with others and no matter what happens, our own path continues constantly. We learn from the times that things don't go as planned as much as we learn from the times that all things work together and make a beautiful happening. All lessons are good ones in the end if we learn them.
It is my belief we are given knowledge to share to help others understand that there is something more than the hard struggle of life everyday in this human existence. We are to help those who lose their path for awhile find it again with love and gentleness as we give them a shoulder to cry on and strong hand to help them get back on their feet. We all look to our Creator/God in some way and either all of the time or part of the time. I believe if we help each other along our paths and help each other to understand what things have been learned if we have difficulty seeing it, then we are living our spiritual lives and doing what we are supposed to as long as we don't harm others and neglect holding out our arms to them and loving them without worrying whether they are right or wrong. I have learned that we teach others by example, not by our own words all of the time. Others learn from our wonderful experiences that they too are on a journey and they will recognize their experiences as they come along if we help them find the tools.
I believe we are given our spiritual lives to share with each other and to not be afraid or ashamed to ask questions. Remember that everyone discovered their own spirituality at different times in their lives and it is never too late. The spiritual part of us is always there.. we just have to choose to recognize it and learn as we get more acquainted with it if we have lost touch.
I do believe we are to share.
