Hi everyone,
My favorite summer things are:
Thunderstorms with warm but yet cooling rains
Green leaves on the trees
Hummingbirds who come to the feeder and the flowers
Butterflies of all colors who spend their time around the flowers
Cool spells in the middle of a heat wave
Lightning bugs twinkling in the fields and yards
The taste of fresh tomatoes off the plants
Homemade ice cream (which I have not had in a long time)
Corn on the cob with butter and salt
Fried Green Tomatoes
Melons
Salad with lots of veggies in it with a good salad dressing
Watching Christmas and Winter movies in the midst of a heat wave
Smelling rain, grass, flowers and many other summer smells that are so fresh and clean
Being able to just stop and listen to the noises that summer makes that are not annoyingly loud
Tall glasses of ice water
I am sure there are more things I like, but this is my favorite list I think. lol
