CASTINGS

Casting News

Grayson McCouch last airs as Dusty Donovan on Friday, January 11.

James Riordan appears as Dr. Hearn and gives Barbara difficult news on Wednesday, January 2.

Peter Richards portrays Jay and gets Lily into trouble on Friday, January 4.

According to SOW Rena Sofer might be cast as Molly McKinnon.

A casting call for Lacey has recently been released and the character is suppose to interact with Paul. Also, Peyton List has reportly been spotted at the ATWT studio in Brooklyn several occasions since her show got the X by ABC.

Billy Magnussen (Casey) is back (Jan.) and he will interact w/Alison.

Peter Richards (Jay) gets Lily into trouble on Jan. 4th.

Simon's return is now no return for now due to the writers strike. There were some scenes taped but not enought to complete a full s/l.

2008 SPOILERS

Brad/Katie/Jack/Carly: Katie and Brad are on the babymaking trail, but she remains torn due to her feelings for Jack. She's convinced Jack will never fully be free of Carly's spell. Jack and Parker know that Kit and Sam are up to no good, but will Carly's eyes ever open to the truth?

Rosanna/Paul/Meg/Craig: Paul is the father of Meg's baby and only Rosanna and Craig know the truth. The secret cannot be kept forever and when the truth comes out, it will change the lives of all four players forever. Expect Cady McClain's January exit to figure heavily in this story's climax..which may not work out the way fans expect.

Lily/Holden: /Considering the history between Dusty and Lily, their relationship is a huge stumbling block for Holden. He starts gravitating towards Bonnie, testing the waters as a single man, but when disaster strikes, will it force Lily back into Holden's orbit? That disaster will drive Lily to interact with a stranger as well.

Emily/Chris: Emily cares for Chris, but is not ready for it to get hot and heavy, as she has told him many times before. Ultimately, there is unfinished business that needs to be resolved between Emily and Dusty, but the situation gets complicated. Dusty is definitely not ready to give up on Em, but he's also strongly suspicious of Chris's possible role in bob's illness, which leads to a deeper investigation.

Luke/Noah: This is a love story we are telling in real time. Luke and Noah are two teenagers in love for the first time. Noah is slowly accepting his new identity and Luke is helping him through that.

Gwen/Will: Sofie signs the adoption papers but that doesn't mean she won't rethink her decision. Meanwhile, the Munsons have disowned Barbara for her betrayal, but in January, Babs will get a diagnosis(mirroring portrayer Colleen Zenk-Pinter's real-life medical drama) that could change their feelings.

Casey: Fresh from jail, Casey will return with a new look on life. Indeed, time behind bars has had a major impact on the formerly happy-go-lucky guy, who will bond with another character who has a troubled past.

" Ultimately, there is unfinished business that needs to be resolved between Emily and Dusty, but the sitation gets complicated when Dusty gets involved with Chris' affairs at the hospital.?

A child for Gwen and Will?
Alison has blown Gwen and Will's adoption plans out of the water by revealing that Barbara tried to buy Sofie's baby for them. " Gwen and Will disown Barbara for her betrayal," the producer previews." But Sofie remains in no position to raise a baby on her own, and a decision will have to be made." Could the young couple still ge the family of their dreams?

Reunion for Lily and Holden?
The Synder marriage may seem like it's well adn truly kaput, but Holden isn't thrilled to see Lily finding comfort in Dusty's arms. " This is another bomb in Lily and Holden's relationship," Gundaker says. " Considering the history between Dusty and Lily, this is a huge stumbling block for Holden. FEBRUARY SWEEPS

Just as Katie learns she is pregnant with Brad's child, Simon returns to Oakdale. At first no one will know Simon is back, he will be hiding out at the Synder farm, and almost be caught by Jack.
How will Simon be revealed to the residents of Oakdale, Vienna will find him in the diner standing over a very dead Henry!!!!

Dusty will be found dead and we will see a body. Both Lily and Chris are the main suspects. There are no plans for replacing Grayson (Dusty) as of this writing.

According to the BUZZ board, during a confrontation with Craig, Paul accidently shoves Meg down the stairs and she loses the baby.

Word on the street is that with Noah and Luke having some major problems coming soon it just may be the end of this story. While fans have been waiting a long time for this relationship to fully develop it is being said that one of the two actors is not happy and is tired of waiting and wants out .

Terro Garber exits as (Iris) in January but this wont be the last we see of her

CBS DAYTIME

Meg begins to put the pieces together.

Barbara receives bad news about her health.

Lily and Emily go head-to-head.

Rosanna fears the worst when Craig threatens to reveal her secret.

Craig starts to get nightmares about Meg's baby ,the cut on his hand becomes infected,and he start's drinking .Meg wants him to feel the baby kick and he wants nothing to do with it.Meg thinks this is strange behavior for him.Meg takes Craig to see Chris for the infected cut.Chris tells Meg the drug that produces miscarraiges(it starts with an X,and I'm not sure how you spell it) is in his cut.Meg remembers Craig knocking the glass out of her hand,and puts two and two together.......why would Craig hurt his own child.........the baby must be Paul's!She calls Paul with the news that she thinks the baby is his.......but she doesn't get the response she hopes from Paul about this news.I am not sure how this is going to happen but,Paul ,Craig and Meg are on the stairwell arguing about the truth of the baby's paternity and Paul accidently pushes Meg down the stairs and she looses the baby.Paul will be devastated to say the least......he accidently kills his own son

Rena Sofer would be GREAT in the role of Molly. I really hope they're not bringing Peyton List back as Lucy just when Grayson McCouch is headed out of Oakdale!

Maybe they'll set her up with Aaron. He's actually more Lucy's age. They could make a cute couple, since the writers seem set on putting Allison with Casey.

Rena Sofer is not being cast as Molly. There isn't any truth to that rumor. That was pure speculation because her ex-husband, Wally Kurth, had been cast on the show as Sam. Wally finished up taping already and will air through the end of this month.

Dusty is gone for sure.

There has been NOTHING official yet on Trent Dawson's status as to whether or not he's staying with the show. So, anything regarding Henry is pure speculation.

Regarding Lucy---there are NO plans at this time to recast that role. So, Lucy is NOT on her way back to Oakdale.

Also, the Lacey thing isn't true either. It was posted by the same person who posted about Andy Dixon being recast.

We tell you what we find and try to make sure our sources are correct. However, the "reportedly" and "might" are a clue as to whether it is fact or not. When the writers put these special words like "reportedly" and "might" it is their speculation and not necessarily from the "horses mouth". But thank you for your help and we will keep an eye open for any updates.

Dr. Chris Hughes receives an anonymous note that Emily was a hooker, then overhears Dusty reveal that he & Emily made love on New Year's Eve. {The note was left by Lily}. Lily's life is out of control.

Dusty gets an important call and then he encounters "someone" and is found dead w/a puncture wound on his body.

Lily comes out of a drug stupor and tells Holden that Dusty is dead, as Holden wipes Lily's prints off a syringe.

Meg declines to press charges against Craig but says she's leaving him for good!

The thing is that there is no TRUTH to it. I found that out talking to a friend of mine who works for CBS.

Apparently, I am not allowed to post clarifications to what is posted in the spoilers. I found out about the Rena Sofer thing from a friend of mine who works for CBS. She told me that there is ABSOLUTELY NO TRUTH to what SOW is saying. SOW is getting their information from the internet. She also told me that there is no truth to the Lacey thing either.

I asked my friend when I saw all of this and she said that there is no truth to that.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. All I was trying to say is we do our best and it takes us "hours" to accumulate all this information for everyone. I appreciate your clarification and as I said, we print what we accumulate from other sites. Most of the information is quoted for SOW, SOD, National Enquirer, etc. We do our best and may make mistakes or misclarify, but we try our best and print what we get. You are "absolutely" allowed to make any corrections you know as proof and truth since you have a connection inside of CBS. It helps to set the record straight.

kind of ironic for me......lesley kay played lois over on GH...the role that rena played..and now rena might be coming on to play her role....lol...now that's what i call quite the ironic twist..

and you're right.....as much as i'd like peyton list back....i wouldn't..first her and dusty were great together..but then if he's leaving....why...and although i loved her and aaron at first.....to me eventuallly there was absolutely no chemistry..and don't we already have more then our share of triangles...then to go and reset the aaron/alison/lucy one over again....awwwwwwwww

First off, Softball, I appreciate your spoiler information that you have given us. I always want people to post reliable spoiler information. It is helpful to all of us.

We have run into problems in the past with fan fiction and spoilers not being credible and this is one reason why we went to the newsletter that I was posting earlier last year with the help of expeditionmom and spudsmom.

We will only post spoilers that are from credible sources. Spoilers from other discussion groups, fan groups, discussion threads, etc., that are not our group will not be allowed to be posted. Things like this happen and I always go back to the way we were doing things b/c it works out better and the spoilers are credible and not fan fiction.

Hopefully there are no hurt feelings. Expeditionmom has spent a lot of time over the past two years helping out and like I said, I always appreciate info. added to the spoiler threads. From now on, all that will be posted is credible spoiler info. that can be verified. Anything else MUST be posted as a rumor.

THIS WEEK ON "AS THE WORLD TURNS"
Sam turns down a four week gig to stay at Metro. Carly and Sam work out a deal to let him stay at Milltown. Jack is jealous when he hears Katie let out a scream while she's with Brad, only to learn they were playing a competitive video game. Henry discovers Brad has real feelings for Katie. Katie reveals to Jack she hasn't felt good around him a long time, who realizes he has to let her go. Dusty finds out from his contact, that there was a foreign substance in Bob's cup. Emily tells Chris that Dusty has evidence against him.

OUT IN THE OPEN: Meg admits to Paul that she thinks the DNA test results were wrong. Susan runs tests and confirms Meg's suspicion. Meg and Paul deduce Rosanna switched the results. Meg covers with Craig, claiming due to Emma being ill, she has to move back to the farm. Holden confronts his sister, who tells him Craig tried to kill her baby. Craig shows up soon after and has it out with the two of them. Desperate to keep Meg, Craig grabs her as Holden holds Craig at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Rosanna returns from her trip early to find an angry Paul waiting. After Paul rejects her, she lets it slip that Craig tried to kill the baby. Rosanna tells Craig that Paul knows everything. Holden forces Craig to leave and Meg breaks down. Paul breaks into Craig's room and the two get into a violent fight over Meg. Meg tries to stop the two men from fighting and ends up falling to the floor.

THE REST: Sofie is finding it difficult to be around the baby she gave up. Gwen invites Sofie and Aaron to dinner. Noah presses the issue of living together with Luke. After some advice from Henry, Luke explains his reluctance to move in with Noah. Later, Luke asks Noah to move permanently to the farm. Lily tells Lucinda she and Dusty are no longer together. Lily's irrational behavior is creating problems for Holden.
