I am asking, are the departed Saints alive or dead?  I know many people claim that the dead, Christians or sinners alike, are totally dead;  unconscious; without any life at all.

And I know some O.T. Scriptures make it look this way;  that is unless you truly have the revelation of what those Scriptures really mean.  I will not go into that right now.

I am going to ask you to explain this Scripture:

Phil. 1:21--For to me to live is Christ, and to die is  GAIN.

v22~~~~But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour:  yet what I shall choose I wot not.

v23~~ ~ For I am in  a strait betwixt two, having a  DESIRE  TO  DEPART,  AND  TO BE WITH CHRIST; which is  FAR BETTER.

v24~~~ Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

Now, I ask you, if the dead know nothing at all, how could Paul say he would rather go on and die for this would be far better?  He said to die is gain.  He said I have a desire to  DEPART  and to be with Christ.

Now I just cannot see how this is lying, unconscious in a grave ~~~ can you?

Wasn't it you Joie who said you don't fully understand all this? That statement alone puts you behind me. I do not understand every bit of the subject it's true, but I do understand enough to be able to teach someone else. Someone who's willing to learn that is. But on other subjects, you have me beat hand over fist. I'm not embarrassed to admit that either  (Beffers)

No, Beffers,  The fact that I admit that I do not know all about this subject does not necessarily put me behind anyone.  (not that I think I am not behind anyone---  that is not my point, ever)  I know you think it is, but this not my purpose of teaching anywhere.

No, the fact that I may see something so deep, and unheard of by us humans, may be why I say that.   In fact, that is why I say it.

God started showing me something so deep way back over 30 years ago, that is 'scared' me.  I have still been trying to get to the 'bottom' of it.

Last night, I studied on it before going to sleep.  I can truthfully tell you that God is showing me something so drastically different from what any of us have ever believed or known, that I am afraid to even say one more word on this subject until I see what he is showing me a little clearer.

If I told you right now what I am 'thinking I am 'seeing'---- you would say I am nuts.

So not knowing, may mean that I am so far ahead of other's in their 'knowing' that only Paul could have known more on this.

I say this sincerely.  I can truthfully say I have never heard another living soul speak of this.  It may be.  It may be just that I have not heard it.  I am quite sure no church today teaches it.

But I can tell you, this matter of 'hell' and life after death is NOT WHAT WE ALL THINK.

I hope and pray I can get full, Scriptual proof of this matter and soon reveal it.  Please all of you, pray for this to open up for us.

I love all of you.  I am not above learning from anyone.  I desire it very much.

But as I have said so many times, I cannot turn my back on what I know God has taught me to try to please anyone else or get you to think favorably of me.  I cannot, in all good concious speak of this subject anymore at this present time.  I must try to find out if what I am seeing is really 'true'.  I am afraid to say without being absolutely sure.  It is not that I cannot answer all your questions with what I already 'think' I know.

It is that I think there is so much more on this, I am afraid to speak of it now until God fully shows me what I am 'into'.

Jo

                         Prophecy against false teachers.

So the Lord says to them, your words are false, and your visions are lies. I am against you. I am about to punish your prophets who have false visions and make misleading predictions. You make misleading predictions
The prophets mislead my people by saying all is well. All is certainly not well! My people have put up a wall of loose stones (False doctrines) and there teachers have come and covered it with whitewash. Tell the teachers that their wall is going to fall down. I will send a pouring rain. Haistones will fall on it, and a strong wind blow against it. The wall will collapse, and everyone will ask you what good the withwas did.
Now this is what the Lord says: "In my anger I will send a strong wind, pouring rain, and hailstones to destroy the wall. I intend to break down the wall they whitewashed, to shatter it, and I will leave the faundation stone bare (The true Gospel of Jesus Christ) It will collapse and kill you all. Then everyone will know that I am the Lord. The seven last plaques Revelation 16.
The wall and those who covered it with whitewash will feel the force of my anger. Then I will tell you that the wall is gone and so are those who withwashed it. Those people who assured that all was well, when all was not well. The Lord has spoken

Joie, no matter what revelation you produce, or visions you secure, you may rest assure I'll take them too the Word and test them (beffers)

Beffers, I would not want you to do otherwise.  I also do not accept anything except it be proven by the Written Word.

Where you make your mistake is in assuming, in error, as ususal, that I do otherwise.  No, when I say I am getting revelation, I mean revelation which is Scripture revealed by other Scritpure.  This is the only way to know truth.  It must fit all other Scripture.  If you people believe God cannot and will not teach us as individuals, then how do you assume to have any knowledge?????

Think about this!

When I say I am trying to find out the answer as I am, I mean I am comparing Scripture with Scripture to prove the solid truth.  If you do not do this, you are in error.

Even when God's Spirit speaks to me and tells me revelation, I do not accept it until He shows me the Written Word proving it.  And He always does this.

You have not given one solid Scripture proving that a person is not alive in another place after they die physically.   I see no evidence in the Word saying this.

So call me whatever you choose, in the end God will prove what His truth is.

Jo

 Joie:

What is God's Spirit (breath of life)  given mankind

Let me trey to explain to you this problem many people have trouble with.
Every living being human or animal receive the breath of live from God. This breath of life is not a soul or spirit. It is the life force like the power supply of a computer. If a computer is switched on it can perform and store things if the computer is switched af the ability to perform is gone but what has been stored in the computer stays on the hard-drive if saved. And if the computer is switched on again all the stored information is right there.
The difference between humans and animals is that we have to ability to communicate with God. And listen to the plan of salvation so that is we which can go on using this computer to gain more and more information and use it for ever. And in paradise if we desire.
Jack.

Beffers,  I have 'refuted, and refuted'  .  You just will not hear it.

I am sorry about not being able to type up as much as I used to do.  I am trying.  But with my new sweetheart in my life,  I cannot spend as much time here as I did before.  I will try to answer everything.  It may not be right 'now', but I will try to get to it.

I am going to try to type up some of the 'revelation' I am working to 'unravel' soon.  I want to show you it is NOT a smoke screen, as you suggested.  This is something I have been seeing bit and pieces of for 30 years.

I cannot teach it clearly right now, but I will show you where I am coming from.  Maybe some of you can help 'unravel' it.

It will take a lot of other ground work to open up my thoughts to you.  So it will take a lot of time.  Please bear with me.

I think it will be worth it to all of you to see what I am looking at.  As I say, I do not see it clearly; so you cannot hold me as saying things true or false.  I confess it is now only in the 'guessing' stage.  That is why I did not want to open it up yet.  But I will.

Jack, I never read where God breathed the breath of LIFE into animals.  Maybe you can show me that Scripture.  I missed that.

I do not believe animals are on the same level of 'life' as humans.

Eccl. 3: 18.  I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

 19.  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

 20.  All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
 21.  Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

 22.  Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
Beffers, sweetheart, (yes you are my sweetheart)  (at least one of them)--
Read v18-- this is NOT speaking of Christians.  Sons of Men refer to those who do not have God in their life.  Here Solomon is speaking strickly carnal, with no spiritual revelation whatsoever.  all through Eccl. he speaks of man in his fallen, sinful state.  He does not see spiritual revelation in this Book.  That is why it is said to be all 'vanity and vexation of spirit.'

See this is why people cannot rightly discern the Scriptures - they cannot tell how or when it is speaking of, in other words, they cannot rightly divide the Word.

It said that they might see themselves as just 'beasts';  which means people without God.  It is not saying they are animals.

Surely a person as knowledgeable as yourself do NOT think we have no preeminence above a beast??
It is the carnal mind speaking here. It speaks of 'flesh' only in v20--all are dust.

But read v21--It said the spirit of man went upward, and the spirit of the beast went downward to the earth.  Now do you see any difference here?  You should.

v22 proves He is speaking strickly carnal, without any true revelation.  It shows how natural, carnal man thinks.  That is why You cannot teach spiritual truth from this.

Ecclesiastes 2
 1.  I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.
 2.  I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it?
 3.  I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life

Now see here how Solomon said that he thought laughter was mad.
He said he wanted to lay hold on folly----
His Book deals with  VANITY.
So if you teach from it, you must remember that he is speaking of vain things; not truth; not spiritual revelation.

So I say to all, be very careful how you try to teach from this Book.  Be very sure you have the Word of God about all of this.  It can take you very far off what is right for us.

This Book is one of the things which tripped up the Kingdom Hall people.  So study this Book with care.  It is not how you think.

It does not teach the real way of life after death.
