Getting rid of Bonzi Buddy

Q. I have Bonzi Buddy on my Windows 98 computer. I hate it. How do I get rid of it?

A. Nice buddy you are! If you've had enough of this animated purple ape that sings, tells jokes, and encourages you to visit Web sites, delete him.

First, right-click him and select Goodbye. Then, in Windows 98, click Start>>Settings>>Control Panel. Double click Add/Remove Programs. Pick Bonzi Buddy off the list and then, Remove.

You're not done yet. Click Start>>Run. Enter "msconfig" (without the quotes) in the box. Click OK and select the Startup tab. Clear the check mark in front of any listings that contain Bonzi.
