The Documents folder (Start>>Documents) shows a list of files you've recently modified.

To clear the list in Windows 98/ME:
--Right-click the taskbar and select Properties. Choose Start Menu Programs in 98, or Advanced in ME. Click Clear and OK.

--In Windows XP, right-click Start.
--Click Properties and the Start Menu tab.
--Select the Start menu option button and Customize.
--Click the Advanced tab and Clear List. Click OK.
