I was just wondering how about if we set a block of time say like 6 weeks and each of us make a goal we would like obtain in that 6 weeks.  And on a weekly basis we would check in with our weight loss effort, good, bad or the ugly...for the much needed support, atta boy/girl, way to go, or just the much needed you can do it, and you will succeed.  We can even set a goal to reach for exercising in that time frame...every thing starts with one step at a time...but need a whole lot of support in between.  Was just offering an idea.  Have a great day/night, take care.
Connie

Just an update.  I've lost 3.5# in the past couple of weeks.  I've been running/walking (run 3 mins, walk 2) for 45 mins to an hour 3x/week.  I also started on Lanuts (switched from NPH) which makes it much easier to eat only when I want to.  I have much better control of my BS level, which helps with the cravings.

Have a good week, and I hope we all continue to work on meeting our weight loss and exercise goals!

GREAT JOB Alissa!!!!!!!!!!!!! WooHoo!

MJ - sounds really like you can get a great work out! I've never seen one like that. I made it a point to look around at the the gyms I've gone to, too. Didn't see it. I was going to try it. My gazelle uses the handles, too. I am going thru gazelle withdawal. LOL

I have been doing different routines while I have been here in Maryland. I won't weigh myself till Monday when I get home.  Actually, my diet is always different here, but in a good way - it IS up to me to make sure I stay true to what is good to my blood sugars.

Have a great one.
Hugs,
anglebear

Two - Bike Rides - WooHoo MJ! Good for you!

I had a different routine while I was in Maryland. I went to the gym three times - used the treadmill and the bike. I tried something that sort of looked like a gazelle, but when it took off, it scared me, stopped it and I got off! Guess I should not have pushed that start button - LOL. The gazelle is only powered by me. Three other days - I used my daughter's treadmill.  I took two days off from exercising.I did meet my minimum 10,000 steps.

I kept up my daily food chart. Calorie wise - I kept about the same. Although, I did notice I had a few more daily carbs.

Well - I have not been on a scale for over a week. I weighed myself before I left. I did want to weigh myself for the end of February, so this worked out. I did lose a pound - I am now firmly at 133. LOL - I lost a pound last time I went there! Must be the grand-kids!

Have a great day!
How's it going with everyone else?
Hugs,
angelbear
