I have a young friend who is like a daughter to me. She went to the doctor and her blood pressure was elevated he gave her some pill to take. Her next visit to him her blood pressure was dangerously high. He sent her to the hospital for test. Results her liver is shutting down. She was told to go home and get her affairs in order. She has 2 small little girls 6 and 8 years old. The doc sent her to hosp for a dye test for liver function test so they can put her on a transplant list. The dye they gave her was for working livers. The dye won`t filter in a bad liver. So they gave her a charcoal (something) to absorb the dye. They won`t do nothing else for her because her doctor is out of town for a week. Please pray for my Jenifer. Thank You Hugs Geri |

I would get another Dr. immediately and not wait a week for her own to return under the circumstances. Hugs! |

Sending prayers and a reminder to all of us why we and our loved ones should be on donor lists, imagine if one of us could save her. Just my 2 cents here: but I don't know when God is going to call me home, but if I could save a young mother with any current body parts I have, wouldn't that be a blessing? keep us posted, hugs, Josie |

This is so sad. It pulls at my heart strings when there are young children. I hope she can get a liver transplant. |

My prayers are with you and your young friend and her family. I am so sorry to hear about this happening. I agree with Angelbear. I wouldn't wait for her regular doctor to return. I would find another doctor right now. Even if it's just an emergancy doctor at the ER. I will keep this family in my prayers, and hope God looks down on them. Maxie |
