Misty Visions

I bought a new stone but didn't get its name or its healing properties. It resembles polished wood but is hard as stone. I keep wanting to pick it up but am not sure as how to use it or what other stones would work well with it. If someone has an idea of what it might be and what it does --please post what you know if you get the chance. Thanks.

Maybe its petrified wood or a peice of polished wood, I have posted a link below giving some pictures of pertrified wood

Its properties are Health & Healing Protection. This is ancient wood replaced and hardened by minerals - usually agate and quartz. This is possibly a "Tiger's Eye stone. Lots of info on it's properties on
the web on any witch site!

Hi!

Back when I posted this, I had purchased two similiar pieces thinking they were the same kind. I had them looked at and found one to be petrified wood(love it) and the other to be a Tiger's Eye(Amazing). The petrified wood is a very calming stone--good for easing worries and insecurities. The Tiger's Eye has improved my vision(poor eyesight) and has released me from several tension headaches--very quickly I might add--I keep it handy just for that reason. Both appear to hold up well w/ use--haven't felt the need to recharge them yet and have a feeling that they dispel neg so no charging needed. Would love to hear if others have similiar experiences?
