 Letting go ( withdrawing from a situation )A frozen situation which is temporarily without solution , a constraint, an obligation, a sacrifice to be made ( for the higher good) The Hanged man reveals a situation where one has to wait, like time is frozen. The unfolding of events / circumstances have slowed to such where you find yourself where you are unable to take action, but are required to undergo the consequences of your actions, good or bad and draw lessons from them. When he shows in a reading it means you are temporarily out of the game of life because you have choosen to or you are forced to.

 

Personally I also see the Hanged Man as a sign that you are at a point where you have " caught up " with time,( Time no longer exists, because you are vibrating at a higher frequency of energy) and as such at a point where your ability to manifest / create is at it's strongest. This Suspension of time also can indicate Divine guidence, before moving on.( Fruitful waiting, Receptivity)

 

Positive meanings - State of inactivity, Faith, Trust, Letting go, Relaxation, Fruitful waiting, Period of Respite or transition, receptivity, Awareness, ( Divine timing) Reversal of values, self sacrifice for the higher good, selflessness, Repentance.

 

Negative meanings - Sloppiness, Laziness, Blocked situation, with no apparent way out.

I see a man hanging upside down by one foot, he dosn't look un comfortable, I notice that the tree he is hung on has brand new leaves, which represents to me new life. This man has a yellow glow around his head again shows life. maybe he is forced to think about all the choices he made in his life. maybe the ending of one life and the beginning of a new one.  That's what i see.
