the waite deck is by far the most popular. There is a bordeaux deck and I personally have a James Bond commemorative deck. Which was really just a gimmicky thing. I've recently been given a modern set with an instruction booklet by Jonathan Dee.No idea who he is. But the cards are a better size to handle. I only read for myself normally. I prefer the ten card spread.

I am professional psychic consultant and have used "the Mythic Tarot" cards for 6 years. Kerry Kulkens -world's famousist pysychic used these as well in her living days.

I also enjoy the "Magical Mermaids and dolphins" cards from Dorren Virtue. ANd do lots of mediumship during my readings. I started out with the Angel cards and grew spiritually from there, giving readings for friends and have been working as a consultant for many years. You may wish to begin your career in clairvoyancy one day too.

Hello there!  You must be really good at reading tarrot cards.  I own 3 tarrot decks that I would like to learn.  I just havent took out the time to learn them.  I was always taught not to rely on tools to give readings but it was ok to learn how to use them.  I own a dragon tarrot, animal oracle, and a shapeshifter deck.  Why do I own so many decks, I am not sure!  I guess when your drawn to something you buy them.  lol!  Some day I will learn how to use them.  Have a great day!  Take care with much love and light!  Red Dragon

Hi Red Dragon, cards are only a tool and are used for focus the reading comes from spirit. So my advice is throw away the booklet as that is someone elses interpretation.

 

When you read cards look at the card look at the colour what do they suggest to you some cards have a message written on them to help but again look at the picture what stands out at you.

 

Shuffle the cards ask sitter if they want a general reading or have they a specific question. ask the sitter to tell you when to stop shuffling. lay 4 cards in a row left card first card laid is the past 2nd card present 3rd card future 3months forward 4th card future 6 months. This is the easiest method to use there are many more ways and you will find what works for you. Just remember as you look at the cards like when you connect to spirit your first thought is usually from spirit go with your gut feeling some call intuition.

 

I prefer oracle cards Doreen Virtue has created some lovely decks I use her Healing with angels deck, My wife uses Message from your angels deck.

That's great to hear that you have dragon cards. Yes, when you feel ready start reading the manual book about how you can give yourself a basic simple reading, that is, how I learnt. Although my first cards were the Angel cards, then I studied the tarot.
